A unicorn who can't use normal magic, a griffin who's always looking for a scrap, a bison who wanted to see the world and a zebra who's fed up with patriarchy. Four misfits looking for their place in the world of Equestria band together in times of strife to defend their home as Equestria's Irregulars.

The story starts off with Silverhoof, the young unicorn who for all he's tried can't lift a feather with magic. We'll follow him as he leaves his home town of Crystal Valley and makes his way toward Canterlot in the hopes of entering the royal guard in service to Princess Celestia.

For the first few chapters you want see any of the mane cast, or even side cast, at least until Silverhoof makes his way to Appaloosa and all hell breaks loose. I'll add on which known characters are involved as we go.
