My suggestion to you would be to find an editor or a pre-reader who can help you grow as a writer and who can help you through your narrative. I know that I never really started to learn until I started using the experience of others to guide me. Fortunately, FIMFiction is full of such folks! I hope I find some people with a bit more experience who can give me some pointers for writing. I have never really done anything like this before. I mean, I've done RP's and stuff like that, but nothing that I have simply let some one else view in it's entirety. It feels like I'm about to send a kid off to his first day at school!
