Some time ago (1 year and 4 months to be exact...I checked...), I started working on a one-shot Discolight clopfic. So far I've written 1,000+ words and I'm just now getting to the juicy bits. As I'm writing, I'm asking myself: "What in the world has possessed me to write something like this?" I've never written anything with sex in it, so this is a first for me. Thank goodness for my copy of Master Lists for Writers for all the wonderful descriptive words.

I have had this debilitating mental illness for as long as I can remember. Recently though, my anxiety levels have gotten pretty high. Just going out to the grocery store or even down to the mailbox has been a chore. This paired the the depression I've been going through as well has just made a joy to be around. Like the title of this blog says, depression sucks...I've lived with it for years and it recently hit me really bad to the point that it has affected my writing. Now, I've been writing fanfics on FanFiction.net for over a decade so suddenly not having motivation or inspiration to write anything is very disheartening.
