I am not happy with this latest chapter of the story, should I alter it or just stop writing the sucker?

The whole thing feels like it just flopped.

So my stories were all downvoted, then apparently, someone was sorry and reversed the downvotes. Then a certain very bright individual decided to talk to the guy who downvoted me in response to blogs posted about it and BAM the votes were turned back to down votes again.
Imagine that.
