In the absence of an official name for her barring "Mrs. Shy", I'm inclined to call her "Posey Blossom". I think it works.
Geek boy, aspiring writer, and proud Brony with a story to tell.
My vacation from work officially started Tuesday afternoon, but it took me until today to get any writing done! The planned chunks for this month and next month for "Rainbow Rocks: Quiververse Remix" and "The First Evil" are finished!" Fingers crossed that, by the end of this weekend, I get work done for "A Shimmering New Year" as well!
Just finished off the last bits for "Family" a few minutes ago, and while I was pecking away at it, I also got a little bit more done on "A Shimmering New Year". Expect the whole of the former to go up for my second anniversary - November 14th - and hopefully another chapter of the latter before the end of the month.
Like I've said before, if I get the chance, I'll eventually incorporate this film's events into my storyline. Amusingly enough, some of it has already made it into the Quiververse - Sunset and Flash have mended fences and Flash has amicably split with Princess Twilight, so that's two story points already in there.
As for the rest of the film, well...
I've seen it floated around here and on DA that, were Starlight Glimmer to have an Element of Harmony all her own, it'd be the 'Element of Justice'.
Sorry folks, but I gotta call BS on that.
First off, what's considered justice to one person might not be adequate justice to another, or might be seen as vengeance to a third. Everyone has a different idea of what justice is, even if they all agree that a particular act can be considered a crime...and even that's a long shot.
It's a crazy plot twist that I've been playing with in my head, but what if a reasonably prominent character turned out to have been adopted by their parents? And I'm not talking someone in the Mane Six or their immediate relatives (Spike obviously being an exception), but still someone who's a recurring character in the show.
Just a thought.
Work last week was a bitch. Consequently, no writing this previous weekend.
Gonna try my best to get more done before the end of the month, folks. I don't want to leave everyone hanging too long on "A Shimmering New Year", and "Family" is this close to being done. Fingers crossed as always.
