The Royal sisters’ palace has been a secret for a millennium. Protected by the Everfree forest and the dangers laying inside, its location became forgotten as the story that lay behind its abandoning.

Soon after the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Crimson Zephyr, an explorer pony from the Equestrian Academy, decided to set an expedition to discover the possible story behind the now ruined palace. Crimson discovers much more than he could have ever expected, uncovering a dark secret that makes him realise that things weren't as he imagined in Equestria and will lead him deeply inside a conflict much bigger and older than he could have ever imagined.
