Well, as far as his bravery in Celestia's aura of terror thing, he had survived an attack from a pack of wolves. If you've survived a life threatening situation without cracking or dying, you know how to manage your fear to the point that you're actually functional. As far as Celestia goes with the initial contact, remember that Lero wasn't in his right mind when she first encountered him, not to mention that the anger portion of her test was never revealed in the original. Galen's in full possession of his faculties, so she had to figure something out with what little she had to go with. She wasn't likely to probe his mind for the proper triggers, so she only had Riley to use.

Also, Pinkie never gets enough love  I plan on tackling a few things involving her character in the next few characters as well :pinkiehappy:

Hearth and Forge is entertaining and has the feel of the original Xenophilia stories. Main Character is a little Mary Sue-ish, and Celestia screwing up first contact with a second human is kinda hard to believe, but I gladly overlook those details because this story is genuinely good. Also, Pinkie doesn't get enough love in the Xenoverse!

Thank you very much for your favorite of Hearth and Forge  I'm glad you enjoyed it so much :yay:
