Well this might be stating the obvious but it's out there. I have reached my chapter by chapter story cap.

This means I can no longer do stories for any of you if you had story ideas (but they will still go into story backlog).

It's looking like Synch won't be updated and possibly won't be continued (it's probably going to end staying on the mother of all cliffhangers) at least in the near future.

Something about going someplace where everything is new and different from Earth.

I loved the planet of the apes (the old movies) and following the back and forth of humans going into ape society and vice versa.

It's just so much fun. I think it's my sardonic side that loves it when people are inordinately surprised at other things. Call me clichéd, call me mainstream, I like it. So there.

Never would've guessed with the stuff I write? Pffft.

I find myself on a dangerous path.

I shouldn't let my ego dictate what I write. I've realised that last week I was obsessing over getting good rating on my story because I thought that would be an indication of what made a good story.

That was stupid.

I write for fun, I should take a lesson from my own stories. When I start to stress myself out doing something I love, doesn't it defeat the purpose in the first place?

1. Good stories/Good Plots/Good Something

2. No Updates/Really Bad Execution/Etc.

Combine any of 1. with any of 2. and that's what I see for a lot of the fics here.

Sometimes I get a dislike for a story, it makes me feel bad.

But then I feel as if they're telling me to try harder.
