Things have certainly been interesting in the last few weeks for me. Real life has been an absolute struggle because of school, and even though I've had tons of my time sapped for studying, I still managed to get the next chapter of Learning Curve rolled out in a pretty timely manner, all things considered.
Break out the champagne again, everyone! Learning Curve just hit the 100 upvote mark this morning!
I've been posting a lot of blogs like this in the past few days, and this will be the last one for a while, I promise.
Sing it, sister!
Yesterday was just awesome. Chapter 10 was a smashing success, and I can't thank all of you enough for your readership.
You know what that means! New chapter of Learning Curve is now out and ready for your viewing pleasure! This one is a real doozy!
While I'm out celebrating all of the excessive parts of American culture today, I thought I'd come by to tell you all of some great news!
We've done it. Learning Curve just hit over a thousand views!
It's been a great journey thus far, and the ride only looks to get better as we move forward! I just want to thank everyone involved in the story, from Lord-Commander, to Killershadow15, and finally to all of you guys who continue to read and support my endeavors. I wouldn't be here without all of you, and I am truly grateful for all of you guys.
Only this time, I have a speaking role! If you want to see my beautiful, handsome face and hear my luscious country accent, click that video! Maybe you'll catch a laugh and a tip on writing while you're at it!
(Oh and while you're at it, take a wild guess at which plushie is mine)
Whew, what a weekend! I thought I had fun at the last two cons I went to, but this one definitely takes the cake, as far as I'm concerned.
My convention experience, despite being so great, had some rocky origins. My car decided it was a good time to break down in a big way just a week before the con, and so, I was forced to use Greyhound to get there. If any of you have experience with Greyhound, you'll know that it is a generally piss-poor way to travel.
Of course, there's just one little problem with that.
