My Little Pony meets the hell that is war. Archaeological digs in the homeland of the antelopes, shared by them and the zebras, uncover a number of shocking items. The incidents that surround the mysterious objects lead the ponies to deploy their military into the heartland of the foreign nation. However, the tension begins to build and eventually leads the ponies, zebras, and antelopes down the dark path that their precursors followed. Follow the Mane Six, Spike the Dragon, Gilda, Derpy, and other characters during their time in the dense jungles and hellish lands of Vietnam.

Author note: This will be a series of short stories, all set in the same universe. The stories themselves are separate creations, and as such are separate from each other.
