When Cerulean Rose woke up one particular morning, she didn't know that she would end it behind the bars of a jail cell deep in the little-used dungeons of Canterlot Castle. Sure, she might have tried to steal a potentially world-ending magical artifact from Princess Luna's high security wing of the Canterlot Archives, but it's not like she knew that at the time. Not only that, she is given an ultimatum from the Princess of the Night herself; join her elite corps of monster fighters, the Night Wardens, who protect the sleeping citizens of Equestria from the terrors of the night, or face summary banishment from Equestria FOREVER. Oh, and she also ends up becoming part bat-pony in the process.

I've had this story in my head and on my computer for a while now, so I figured why the hell not and on one random Wednesday I decided to post it here. I hope you guys enjoy it!
