That was the sound of my inbox exploding. Hi, EQD! I knew I'd get something of mine up there eventually.
And just to prove I'm not lying:

Ever since the season finale back in February, I was very careful to avoid spoilers for season 4. That mean staying off of Reddit for three months, which was something I didn't think I was capable of. It also meant I came in to this new season fresh and totally unaware of what might be in store. Guys, let me tell you:
It was worth it.
I am taking a break from the fandom. At least two weeks, possibly more what with finals coming up. This is for personal reasons - I am too close to everything and I need to step back for a while. I am not abandoning 'Of Youth and Growth' and may in fact post a new chapter while I'm out, but no promises. I think this is a good time - the season has ended, so there's nothing to miss except all the drama, which is just another bonus.
Okay, so apparently I have a lot to say today. So what?
So, Fluttershy speaks for the gang and says that they all love Twilight. Twilight replies, very clearly, that she loves them too. This is my favourite moment of the episode, possibly the whole season. Why? Well, let's find out:
Dear bronies everywhere: CALM DOWN.
I know all of you are panicking because you think Twilight becoming an Alicorn will RUIN EVERYTHING FOREVER, but I don't think that's going to happen. If we can recognize that her changing species is going to limit her story-telling potential, don't you think the writers know that too?
Reasons why you should set down your torches and pitchforks:
So...there's a new chapter coming. Soon. Really soon. Yes, I'm slow, but I have an explanation - I've gone back to school. Stories take a lot of hard work and focus, but so does trying to get a real career that isn't "washing cars through the winter and risking frostbite for minimum wage." But, like I said, there's a new chapter coming. So don't worry. And I hope you like it.
