I know at least a couple of you are anxious for the next chapter of Wings of Friendship and the end of its hiatus, and for that I apologize. I was going to post last night, but then I decided that I didn't like the ending of the chapter and started to rewrite it. I'm hoping to have it done and posted this weekend.

Well, my goal was to finish Wings of Friendship over my break. Thanks to a ton of work I had to do combined with a nasty rhinovirus, I didn't even come close. On the bright side, I did complete one chapter and part of the next. I'll post in a day or three. Depends on how much crap I have to get done and how well I'm feeling.

My Thanksgiving break starts in just a day or two--depending on how things go in the lab. So, I suppose it would be time to announce what my goal is during my 10 days of semi-freedom. Admittedly, not many (read two) voted for what they would like me to work on. In that vein, let me say that I will go ahead and focus on completing Wings of Friendship by December 1st. That is my goal.

So, my Thanksgiving break starts two weeks from today. I was thinking of trying to do a marathon of writing during the short reprieve. So, says I to me, why not ask my followers what they would like to see? Tell me your thoughts, and I'll let you know which one I'll do next week.

I just noticed that someone went through and downvoted nearly every one of my stories, most of them twice. It really irks me because a couple of them had zero downvotes, too. Why would anyone do that?

I've gotten back to writing, though I haven't really accomplished much. I still can't find time to churn out words like I used to, though I imagine my rigorous class schedule has something to do with that... I'm seriously ready to give up. Apparently, while I can write with proper grammar and all of the rules of writing from flow to description to prose, my stories just suck. Pointless little snippets that mean nothing to no one.

There will very likely be another round of deletions in the near future, provided I don't just sweep the mess away and move on to the next fandom.

So, I've decided to take some time off from writing pony words to get my head straight. That being said, I'm going to have a lot more free time on my hands, even with the new semester starting tomorrow. Does anyone out there have a story they would like me to read? Maybe someone would like a pre-reader? I might not be awesome at grammar and such, but I certainly have an opinion.
