For those who wanted to submit stories for consideration to The Royal Guard, you can now submit stories using the following link. I'd like to make sure everyone understands that The Royal Guard is only accepting one story per author per week to lessen the influx of stories. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or reply to this blog post!

So, for the past few months you may have noticed I haven't been very active with posting stories and updates. This is partially due to the holidays and partially due to work and stuff I had to do. Mostly, however, it was due to the fact that I wanted to get a firm grasp of the mechanics and styles of fanfiction. I feel I have a good enough idea, now, to edit my fics and post higher quality stuff. To this end, I've started rewriting my more popular fics.
First of all, let me say that I've had Lunar Gravity looked at by several very skilled critics and reviewers. The general consensus is that it needs work badly. Now, if you're reading this you've probably favorited the story so you probably already like it, but I've come to a decision:
You may have noticed I haven't really been updating lately. This is for three reasons:
1: Holidays. I've been traveling and doing things with family.
2: Reviews. I've been focusing on doing reviews for authors a lot lately. I understand there are a few people who I've promised reviews to that I haven't delivered on yet. They are in the works, though.
I've been officially accepted as a reviewer for WRITE. What's that mean? Well, basically, it means someone will come and tell me off (read: 'smite') if my reviews are too harsh and that I'll be doing critical reviews of more fics than I already do. I also get to use this neat little tag at the end of my reviews if I like:
ChromeMyriad, WRITE's Nanite Construct
Hello everyone. I've begun writing the first chapter of Somber Heart in earnest. As of writing this blog post, I have about 1,200 of I imagine about 5000-6000 words written. I want pre-readers and idea people for some first impressions and error checking. Please understand that the nature of the work will mean heavy spoilers and that you will probably read snippets and pieces of the first chapter rather than a coherent story. If you
For those who didn't know, I recently did some reviewing/editing work for Cerulean Voice's epic tale Keeper of the Crystal Heart. What I found was a beautifully detailed and imaginative world along with some delicious twists! The storytelling here really is top-notch with cleverly spun plot points that coincide with the show.
Hello all, my newest fic just passed moderation. Every once in a while, I have ideas about what life must be like living in Canterlot Castle or I might want to write a small fic involving the princesses. Lunar Gravity is kind of already set in its ways, so I can't be random with it. I created Remedial Lessons as a place to put all the little one-shots I want to write involving our favorite demigoddesses. The first chapter is one in which Luna teaches Twilight Sparkle a secret of life she
So I'm driving down the highway enjoying a nice ride. The sun is out, the sky is clear, and I'm weaving through traffic like any good citizen should. Suddenly, I happen upon a large black truck. The truck is going at a fair clip, about 55 mph. The sun glinting off the polished sheen of the paint forces me to squint as I wait for my chance to bypass him. While I'm stuck there, I take the chance to look over the vehicle.
