Just thought I’d drop a quick blog to state that: No I’m not dead... and neither is this story.

The next chapter is coming along, just more slowly than I hoped, but it is coming together.

No major drama going on here, it’s just xmas, mum is down with us right now and the longer working hours mean less free time during the working week.

I haven't heard back from my editor yet, which is highly unusual. Normally a day or two, three at most.

While I am hesitant to release the chapter with proper editing, I will publish it Monday. Keeping everyone waiting any longer than that is just getting/has already got silly.

So, I will go through it one more time myself looking for errors.

Annnnnnd given my track record on this sorta thing I'd just like to say: *Gulp*

'Chapter 47- The Frozen Sun' is now off to my pre-reader and editor.

And on a minor note, it's been a couple of months since I went over to night-shift and it still feels like I have to make an effort to stay in the proper sleep pattern. I had a week off recently and thought: 'yippee, I can go to bed early...'

Drat... or words to that general effect.

Turned on PC this morning and after an amusing little puff of smoke, accompanied by the house circuit breakers tripping out, my PC officially died on me.

Probably just the PSU but it is - 'quite annoying'.

Anyway, got the laptop right now so hopefully it shouldn't have too much effect on my writing. (Definitely prefer the G15 keyboard to the laptops for typing though.)
