Some of the chapters word counts went up 100-300 words. Just added a few pacing fixes and some internal past and present tense ramblings.

Hey everypony!

I've recently had a little surge of trackers, so I thought I'd update on the status of Chapter IV.
It's nearly complete! I'm hoping to get it done by Wednesday/Thursday. There is so much I want to put into this bit. I'm filling in the gaps and fleshing it out, just taking a break to write this out. Don't expect a massive rollercoaster for Narrator in this one. I think we all need a breather after the events in Chap II and III. Time for some development.

Alright! Finally back! Had a lot of stuff to do in RL, but I've completely rewrote a lot of the chapters I had originally published. So I've unpublished them and re-uploading them once I've reformatted them and added all the new stuff. Took a lot of people's advice and tried to keep things interesting throughout while not losing too much of the atmosphere and moderate pacing. A nice fella from PonyChan went through my WIP story here. He pointed out a lot of things which I've been slowly chopping away at as well as some others which I had completely missed and thanks a lot for it!
One of the things he stressed was the pacing (I assume he's never read At The Mountains Of Madness. 20 pages explaining rock formations.) of the story. Yeah it is a little slow with a few mundane things here and there that have/will be trimmed in the future.

Chapter IV is completed but it is so long (nearly 3500 words) that I may end up splicing it into Chapters IV and V depending on how much I add or cut while going through the edit and rewrite later this afternoon. Should have it up by Monday evening.

I'm falling into the trap of constantly going backwards to flesh out more of Narrator's world insted of getting the story finished.
Ah well, I suppose improving the flow and bringing Narrator's world more life doesn't hurt. Working on Chapter IV today, hopefully be done by the end of the weekend.

Whew!
That was a lot of work but the story is much more descriptive and has a much better flow.
