The sentences are contradictory. Either:
A. Only two survived the fire.
or
B. Nobody was harmed.
161888 Oh right, I see how that could be confusing now. I was referring to the vehicles not the ponies. Four carriages were burnt irreparably whilst two remained relatively untouched. None of the ponies were in the carriages at the time, therefore no one was injured. Sorry about that, shouldn't have used the word survived.
