Prologue: Welcome to Gravity Falls

Summer. A time to hang out, let loose, and all around chill. Unless, of course, you're either me or my sister. Let's back up for a minute, though. I should tell you the story from the beginning. My name is Dipper, and I am a blank flank. My story starts out with my parents deciding that my sister, Twist, and I needed some fresh air. They sent us up to Gravity Falls to visit with a family friend, a unicorn named Trixie. She owned a tourist trap known as the Mystery Shack, filled with various odd knick-knacks for ponies to buy. Once we got there, she put us to work immediately. It was small, boring stuff, like sweeping the floors and whatnot. I thought it was going to be the same boring thing over and over again until one fateful day…
