The Equestrian Empire

1. Long Live the Empire

Nightmare Moon had fallen. The traitor had been tracked down to the old castle, and destoryed. The Avatars, Lady Twilight Sparkle, Avatar of Necromancy, Pinkamena Diane Pie, Avatar of Scorn, Applejack, Avatar of False Truth, Rarity, Avatar of Greed, Fluttershy, Avatar of Despise, and Rainbow Dash, Avatar of Betrayal, had summoned their power, and annihlated the false Empress.

The twin Empresses, had taken Equestria under their wings. First, the old Royal and Night Guards were converted into DARKFIRE, the fierce defenders of the Empire, and keepers of peace. Any and all who opposed them, were silenced. To keep Equestria in order, they eliminated all who threatened ponykind.

The barbaric Griffons, savage and stupid, were herded and given to the care of the far superior unicorns, the manure-headed Minootaurs, made beasts of burden to the graceful Pegasi. Though, very few Earth Ponies were given rights. As Celestia and Luna had given them no gifts. they were treated like those of the Minotaurs and Griffons. The "Mud-ponies" as they were called, toiled in the gem mines, and the crop fields, harvesting food, fuel, and precious stones for New Canterlot, the capital of Equestria, and for Ponyville Districts 1-14.

Celestia and Luna had made the Avatars the heads of the Districts. They were to enforce the laws that the Empresses had passed, using whatever methids deemed necessary to keep order.

For years, the Equestrian Empire, the rightful ruler of all, had been a place of order, and a perfect utopia.

That is, until a group of 6 mares appeared in the royal throne room, who appeared to be the Avatars..........but how?
