This is actually one of my old favorite story concepts/ideas that I wanted to try, once I finally have the courage to write in here.

They came out of nowhere and hit harder than a train, they attacked every major city in Equestria, Manehatten, Appleloosa, Fillydelphia, even... Even Ponyville. We fought back as much as we could, but we were in a time of peace and the Princesses didn't really see much need for a major military force, so when the war started we lost countless lives. Canterlot and a few camps are all that's left, we ain't heard much from the the others such as the dragons or Griffons, but since we haven't seen them here our best bet is that they are still able to fight back against them." Applejack explained, so this place is also in a major war. Great, out of the raging flame into the even bigger raging flame. I need to find my team fast, there's no telling what kind of threats awaits us here and it's better to face them together. We reached the edge of the forest and I followed Applejack as she left us down a path, from the small prints and dirt I assumed that this was a secret path they had made in order to get around undiscovered.

Hmph! Luckily, they are all NOTHING compared to like the Locust, Laampent, or the Swarm. Chrysalis, Sombra, and especially the Storm King are nothing compared to the Locust's fearsome leaders.

So, our Alpha Team can easily handle this.

Hopefully, for the ponies and everybody else's sake in Equis/Equestria.

The Locust themselves or more specifically; The Swarm don't magically teleported here ( Like you did by sending the DC Villains to Equestria in Red Hood's story. ) as well.

Because, it's bad enough by facing three different evil forces. Don't need to send the fourth and MOST dangerous and powerful of them combined.

P.S. I bet the Princesses are highly regretting their decision to not have a major military force before this crazy shit happens!? Then, many lives COULD have been prevented!

Interesting so far, been a while since I read or even heard anything about Gears of War. Remember playing the games back in middle school at my friends house. Good times, good times.

If Alpha squad was at Anvil Gate just before Adam’s countermeasure weapon went off then the squad should be using the summer version of COG Armour, like what we saw in Gears 3.
