H.V.I Weather Research Labs: Fallout

--------Log 3: Heart of the Facility-----

This is the day that the employees are waiting.
The day where the Reactor Core will finally be born and also the first day of their work. The majority of the employees were new and fresh along with the old employees from site 1, even though there are few of them they are expected to guide the new employees and monitor them. Hurricane had the best employees from site 1 and those are:

------ Security Chief of Security Team: Panther Fischer -------

He knew they are the best choice to lead, teach, and monitor the new employees. Hurricane is so lucky to have them back and was excited to meet them once again since the site 1 accident. He called them for a quick heads up before leaving.
A minute later, the 7 senior employees entered his room without saying a word and then lined up according to their specified ranks and teams left to right. Facility Director Kranvagn decided to speak up first wisely.

Good morning sir, and may I ask why did you call us? Kranvagn asked politely

Well, as far as you know that you're the best senior employees that I had on-site 1 and I expect that you will guide the new and fresh employees to operate the Power Plant. Hurricane said

Is there a problem with our new employees? Conqueror asked

Now you've mentioned it. I don't have a problem with these employees except that they aren't that exactly- uh... Well,
it is not that they have no experience. It's just that I'm paranoid that they might do something random that might end my business. Remember we need money for future projects and not to mention your salaries. He said

Well why did you hire them in the first place? Cromwell said disappointingly

Because they meet the needed requirements and who's a sane person will reject the applicant that met requirements? Because that's definitely not me and also let me remind you that we are 1.3 Million Dollars in Debt after I paid all of the property damage that we've caused and also the hospital bills... Hurricane said slightly annoyed

Oh, I forgot that. He said embarrassingly

Don't worry Hurricane we got all of this covered and we'll make sure that those new employees will be monitored.
Kranvagn said confidently while giving the CEO a little hope.

All right, I'll give that job to you. Dismissed. He said

The Seniors left the room only leaving Hurricane alone and continued his paperworks. The 7 seniors walked out to the building and went to the giant portal. It was ready and waiting to be used, they were hesitant to walked through it and was ready to back down not until Conquerer calmly walked through the portal like it was nothing but a normal Tuesday for him.

Geronimo. Conqueror said

He walked through the portal without hesitation, they followed him to see what's on the other side. ------------

Everything was dark at first. All they could see is just nothing just like everything around them had just disappear in one blink. And there, there was an exit and it's getting closer and closer, they don't know what to do at first but it was too late to formulate a plan when the light sucked them up completely. They opened their eyes to see what's going on.

Their reaction was priceless.

They cannot believe it. The new site 2 of the H.V.I Weather Research Labs. The new lobby was just astonishing unlike their lobby before it was just a reception at the center and just a few benches and that's it. While everyone is busy inspecting the new lobby, Conqueror doesn't seem to be in the mood of inspecting the new looks, so to compensate he walked down through the stairs to see what the core chamber will look like. He opened the sealed door and went through. He took the middle door which it leads to core control room and there he was inside the core control room.
He is not surprised that everything changed, including the controls, back then there was just a button for start-up and coolant. He looked to his left and he found an emergency coolant system and muttered "That's new". He went down to the emergency coolant room and opened the door to see what's inside. Inside it was just a very cold room and a button for e-coolant. He was dumbfounded when he saw on the monitor that the facility had only one tank of emergency coolants and he knew that they're screwed.

Jesus Christ, whoever decided to put ONLY one tank for emergency coolant, I wish he stepped on a Lego and kill himself now. Conqueror said disappointingly

He went out to the emergency coolant room and climbed back up, this time he wants to inspect every controls in this room. He started at the start-up button. Right there he could see a two buttons, the left button is for Reactor Start-up laser charge while on the left one is for Reactor Start-up. He went for the right controls and there he found the coolant control system and the Reactor Core Panels.
He was impressed on the improvements that happened in here and he thinks that Hurricane did very well in this one. He didn't notice that the elevator was even there. He went inside, pressed the button and the elevator went down. Once it was all down he went out and he started to inspect what's in. He noticed the five seals in here. He wondered what could that be, but, when he noticed the 2 button on to his left side, he turned his head to the right and there he saw a 2 buttons as well. He had now an idea what's in these four but he couldn't guess what's in the 5th seal or on the center. He walked around to see what to inspect and he just noticed a yellow light underneath. He walked slowly for caution to see what's in there and when he finally reached it. He peeked slowly and there he found a ladder. He was curious at first but he let that aside for a moment and he went down through the ladder. He turned back his head and he was shocked what's waiting for him.

"No way" Conqueror said astonishingly

He just can't believe it. There is a rocket pod here in this site, he can't believe that his idea will be in here and be added to their safety procedure. His Core Containment was his alternative meltdown protocol when the automated shutdown was unsuccessful. He saw to the panel that it was on 0 fuel, he went to the controls and pressed the add fuel button, unfortunately though it could take a while, so he decided to went out to the rocket pod system and went to the elevator.

Once the elevator was on the top side again, he was greeted by several new employees and also his friends the senior team.

"Hey Con, you're just in time! We are about to start the Reactor up." Cromwell said

"Neat." Conqueror said

"Oh boy, I can't wait to see the core!" Sheridan said excitedly

"I just hope the start-up protocol don't mess up like the B-core company did" Pershing said calmly

"If I'm not wrong, their power laser 1, 3 and 7 malfunctioned and failed to create a core safeguard but in the end its their fault for having a faulty designs" Conqueror clarified

"Plus, their IT engineers sucked." Cromwell added

"Not at all... They're just having a miscommunication and conflict on their plans and failed to double or triple check it" Conqueror replied back

"Hey, might remind you that we are going to start-up the core not to discuss the B core start up failure." Cromwell cutted them off

"We know, you don't have to tell us twice"
Conquerer replied back

Conquerer walked to the start up control panel and pressed the Reactor Start-up laser charge.

The lights went off and the start-up lasers began to charge up into the reactor chamber.

Music to the charging reactor startup laser.

"Reactor Start-up laser: Charging sequence initiated. Directing power all facility power to charge the reactor startup laser" The A.I announcer said

Then the lights came on to all facility on a few seconds.

"All reactor laser charged successfully. Core can now be activated" The A.I announcer said

Conquerer pressed the right button and then the start-up sequence has now been initiated.

Reactor Core Start-up music:

"Attention! The reactor startup has been initiated. Please stand by for reactor startup in T-minus 80 seconds. the A.I announcer said

The startup is now in progress and the system are now starting up. The junior and senior members are now witnessing the startup and they're about to get excited of what they'll see next.

"Conducting alarm test...

*Alarm blares*

Alarm test completed" The A.I announcer said

After the alarm stopped the startup power lasers are beginning to charge up and then a few seconds. The Lasers activated altogether.

"Attention! Core startup lasers online, please do not approach the core area at this time."

"Warning! High instability detected. Switching core startup to stabilization mode and activating the stabilization protocol." The A.I announcer said

Below the core chamber the 2 seals started to open along with the raising of the stabilization towers one and two.

"Raising stabilization towers one and two"

Then the other 2 seals followed up and raised the towers three and four.

"Raising stabilization towers three and four"

Then the stabilization towers one and two are now half way done to the process while the three and four are catching up. Then a few seconds later the stabilization towers one and two stopped.

"Core stabilization towers one and two, locked and ready"

Then the towers three and four followed as well.

"Core stabilization towers three and four, locked and ready"

Then the Core stabilization towers one, two, three and four became online, lit up the core altogether and forming the reactor core safeguard.

"Core stabilization towers are now active"

"Reactor core startup procedure completed."

The Reactor core is now online. The monitors for the reactor core opened one by one and everyone in that room can see how the core performs and it's condition.

Well, that was one hell of a startup now let's get to work. Conqueror said

Most of the seniors went out of the room to go to their working spots and start working.

Little did they know there is an upcoming disaster is about to take place very soon and no one will going to expect it.
