Good to know! I did a 'found journal' story for another fandom a few years back, and my biggest mistake on that one was that the chapters got way too long, so I wanted to give the format another try and stick with a realistic amount of text someone would write in a journal.

I can see a shorter length being more realistic but I still would like to see longer chapters. Maybe 1000 words would be a good length for each of these.

I am loving this creeping sense of disquiet and unease.

Assuming this is not some sort of hitherto unknown type of megafauna like a Ursa Major, that would mean some sapients designed this to be deliberately as unwholesome and unwelcome and uncomfortable as possible... That should give them pause as to why this was done. Maybe time to ask Luna or Celestia if they remember anything? Maybe a forgotten bundle of nastiness from their respective Nightmare/Daybreaker phases?
