Season 1: Scion of Gusty Ep 11: Terror of the Taskmaster

In a distant region, in another world, a world that mirrors space itself

Nothing but space and stars everywhere.

A single foot steps onto a transparent puddle that creates a tiny loud ripple. All alone in this vast void of space is a single being. She walks towards the calm noises she creates

A beautiful woman dressed in a red eastern dress barefoot, with silky long black hair with peculiar bangs.

“Greetings viewer, yes you” she said in a soft elegant tone “Allow me to introduce myself I am Xiaomei and I am the chronicler of the world of Amazing Fantasy”

She smirked “what? did you think Discord would narrate this tale? think again” she copied a famous blue hedgehogs tsk tsk finger gesture.

“I know you’re asking me where’s the Watcher?” She said “well under recent circumstances, The task befalls to me to watch over this world.”

“Anyway you’re probably wondering what was going on at the end of the chapter.”

“Fret not young readers that was only one possible future, but I fear our young heroes are not completely out of the woods yet.”

“If there not careful, either that future or something worse may happen” she secretly chuckles

She looked back and regained her composure

“I can’t wait to find out! how about you?” She grins

At a secret location, Augustus Roman waits for

“It’s about time Shinobi shaw answered my calls” he said

He sees a limo and walks out a an esteemed man dressed business attire

“Shinobi shaw current leader of the hellfire club, pleasure to finally meet”

“Drop the pleasantries Roman Im well aware you called because you have someone or something you want out of your way”

He snorts at his arrogance “do you have something to deal with my pest problem or not?”

“Fear not, you’ll get your money’s worth.” He snap his fingers and out of the limo comes out a mysterious man in a white hood in a skull mask with a blade and shield.

“Is that?”

“Of course it’s me” taskmaster says “anyone who’s anyone knows to catch the best you gotta hire the best”

“Now who do you want me to catch?” Taskmaster says as Roman hands me a newspaper article about the Ani-Mutants.

“It’s going to be tough as there’s no face” taskmaster pointed out

“There discreet unfortunately not discreet enough to leave my city alone”

“Luckily they’ve had connections to dr Reed Richards.” He’s listed at the day the ani-mutants were first mentioned.

“Their base should provide clues”

The next day

At the temporary base at the docks owned by the fantastic four,

They told Dr Richards everything once

“It seems your friend is right about a living vampire”

“That means he’s not a real one…it’s a human mutate like my dad” may said “it makes sense his background mentioned experimentation with other animals like bats”

“Are you saying he made himself ugly on purpose?” Smolder said

“We won’t know that unless he wakes up”

“Where’s Ben Grimm and fire guy” Yona asked

“Well Johnny entered a drag race with his friends and Ben is out bowling.” She said

“Hippogriff he’s tied up you can come closer” Yona said

“I’m good thanks” she said as she backed away hiding behind susan and Franklin at the kitchen area. Susan chuckled at the thought

“What did leeches do to her?” Gallus mumbled

“Everyone’s got a creepy crawly they don’t like” Sandbar said “remember professor Pie’s tale about the parasprites?”

“Mmm…” ocellus looked irritated

“Something wrong” Ullr said

“Could we stop with the bug talk?” She clearly pointed out that changelings are often compared to bugs

“Oops” Sandbar said

“You started it” Gallus mentioned

“I’m sure they didn’t mean it” Ullr said he said as he was getting dragged by Valeria “come” she said

She sighs “Forget it, Dr Richards how is he?”

“Well you came here at a miraculous time” he said “you see, the mutation seems to be incompatible with his body and he’s slowly rejecting his changes”

“Isn’t that a good thing?” Gallus said

“It would unfortunately that he caught is causing some trouble for his body.” He said “it not treated soon it could be life threatening” Dr Richards grab’s something a few feet away.

The grabs some injections tube which are poked and stabbed right into the body

‘I don’t know why But I feel like I’ve seen these certain conditions before’ he said as he turned on a switch.

“Fret not, this process should take about 42 hours” he said

Mayday holds her journal “so are you taken away his essence”

“While administering the right amount of morphine and water.” He points to the other pipes. So Mayday looks at the unconscious for and has an uncertain feeling.

“This…looks so familiar” she mumbles as she just moved on the pages

“Really? How?” Smolder asked

“I…can’t remember…” she said ‘it’s not possible he’s not tied to…that’ she turns to doctor Richards ‘but just to be sure…’

“Hey dr Richards-

*beep*

He received a call as he took out a communicator “yes?….really Johnny?…I see, well I’ll be there” he put it away “I’m sorry did you say something mayday?”

“Uhh…I was wondering if I could visit your lab and work with you sometime” she changed the subject

In the kitchen frankin heard that and peered

“Hmmm…I wouldn’t mind sharing my lab with you, although there are some materials that are probably too advanced for you to understand

“Thank you sir, and with all due respect I’m sure they’ll be no problem for me” she said as Franklin secret punches the air ‘yes’ as Silverstream took his sandwich without looking

“So what was the call about” she got curious

“Ohh it’s Johnny, he got into some trouble with his so called race…apparently another of our rogues gallery is crying out for attention and Johnny escalated the situation.”

“So I guess you gotta go?”

“Afraid so, do you think you could hold the fort while me and sue go right ahead?”

“Uh. Sure” she said

Susan grabbed Franklin and saw Valeria measuring Ullr. “Come now Val don’t be silly” as Val sighed “we’ll continue this when I get back” as Ullr was confused

“What was that about?” He wondered

“Oh don’t mind her, Val does her own fun” Susan said as they were about to leave

Ullr gets a phone call, “yeah?” ‘I question the use of phones’ He answered

“Kid get in here!” He recognized that banshee “yes Jameson?”

Unfortunately the phone went silent as he was ignored.

“Well it looks like Jameson needs us again”

“If it’s the same to you some of us should stay incase if this guy busts out” Gallus says about the vampire

Mayday also mentions “plus Dr Richards always says that their home is usually invaded by some filled with jealousy or testosterone”

“Mega Man What do you feel like doing?” Mayday asked in her helmet “Well I wish to help what you want to try next” he said

She smiles “you’re so good to me Mega Man” she gave him a kind smile as he rubs his head in praise and Franklin heard and he made a little pout

Ullr nods “so who’s coming with me?”

“I’ll go, I’m sick of playing nurse” she threw away a rag

“Dragon didn’t even help much” Yona said as she did most of the washing.

“May I travel too?” Mega man asked which suprised Mayday “huh what for?”

“I want to see if miss mikimura is okay remember not every reporter will except working with such…colorful characters” he said

Sandbar said “how would that even work?”

And in a split second Ullr’s phone rings “hello?”

“Like that!” Mega man answered in Ullr’s phone shocking everyone

Mayday answered “I figured if I could download him into my helmet why not all my tech and then some?” But looks back for a second “Ullr if you so much scratch him you will regret it” she made an comically dramatic face

Ullr chuckled “I gotcha” he walks out “heh I’m kinda jealous that’s she’s nice to you mega man” he whispered to to the phone as that shook Franklin a bit until Val finally pushed her brother out the door.

“Uhh…I’ll go too!” Silverstream said

“Silverstream for the last time he’s not a leech” Sandbar reassured her

“Nope! Not taking any chances” as the three left.

“Whatever” mayday mumbled then her finger flipped onto a chapter closed with tape. “What the…?” 5 rounds of tape sealed it like an envelope. She removed her suits gloves to carefully peel off each one. ‘What was so important in here grandpa?’

“Whatcha got there?” As Gallus got curious’ Mayday turned away “none of your business!”

Gallus rolled his eyes “find” unknown to her, his tail had bounced to book from her hands

“HEY!”

“A bup bup!” He holds his claw in front of her And easily used his sharp finger to quickly stroke the bonds and threw it back to her. “Never hurts to ask” he said

“I could have done it” Mayday said received a text from mega man “please be nice to them?” She turns it off “what does he know?” She pouted when a he tried to defend herself

But really she wanted to know what her grandfather kept hiding. She carefully flipped open a page it revealed 2 names Richard Parker…And Yuki Fudo. “Odd, I thought conners was his only partner” as she saw the name of Kurt conners appear in several pages already. “This is the first I’ve heard of another one” she skim to the main event the project… “the what…?”

“Sorry for being away a long Scott” ullr apologized to him as cyclops tracked them down driving the jeep.

“I’m just glad you’re all okay, when I heard vampire I thought you may have faced Dracula” he shuddered at the ridiculous scenario of a certain hairy short man as a vampire…again”

“You’ve faced vampires before?” Smolder asked

“Uh yes…back when I’ve dealt with…obnoxious recuits, we ran into a dangerous situation involving a monster who claimed to be Dracula.”

Ullr fidget at that name

“I’ve looked up the name” Mega man said “apparently he’s been told to be a common myth but recent exploits from history say other wise. A king of vampires”

“Ullr what’s wrong” Silversteam noticed that he had a look of pure disgust… “I know that name”

Scott look concerned “you mean to tell me that you’ve You faced him before?”

Ullr Sighed in a tired tone “no I’ve never met him…but Unfortunately my mother did”

“What about your mom?” Silverstream asked

“My uncle told me this, When she was younger she and Thor got into a situation with Dracula on their exploits to an earlier Midgard. He…tried to force my mother’s hand in marriage…”

“That’s terrible!” Silversteam was shocked

“So he’s a creep!” Smolder said grossed out

“Creep is an understatement… be glad you haven’t faced the creeps I’ve met” Scott said “are you alright?”

“I’m fine thanks, anyway it worked out as Thor dealt with the issue long ago.”

Up across the buildings one man is observing the car, “I knew if I’d get the fantastic four busy with that division I planted to that idiot matchstick, it’d get the target to leave… well some at least “ taskmaster tails them down

About half an hour past as they were caught in a road jam “wha seriously?!” Smolder complained

They then see a car fly over and crash near them.

“We should go” mega man said as they all nod and jumped out of the car and hid somewhere to change.

At the scene of the attack

“Get putt of here! Yah bug this is my score!” Said a villian in a yellow suit

Meanwhile a guy in an armored bug suit said nothing as it kept blasting him.

The yellow guy ducked and used these gauntlets to blast the cars toward him

All that destruction had forced many to evacuate

They armored bug dodged it all and prepared to unleash some sort of mega lasted until…

*Clang*

Someone threw a rock at him causing him to look at the Ani mutants and cyclops

“Is that a guy in a bug suit?” Smolder asked

Excellent work beetle now get out of there taskmaster reported as the beetle then flew away.

“Wait” smolder flew after him but the beetle shot out flash grenade

Boom “ah!” The force knocked out her flight path

Luckily silverstream caught her.

Ullr confronts the yellow guy “what’s with your friend hurting my friend !”

“Hey don’t look at me he’s not my friend?!” He blasts at Ullr but he dodged it by jumping left. Then jumped again to avoid another blast.

He blasts the ground to jump high onto the building rooftop he left too

Silverstream follows and flies over the moving blasts

“So what’s your name?” She asked “are you a carpet rug man?”

“What the?!” He almost tripped at the response “I’m the shocker you little bird thing!”

She fell at the roof where he stood and glided around him “what’s with all the yellow?”

“Like you should talk!” He looks at her yellow suit

She slides down on her back and jumps next to a a ledge. “Whoops!” She almost Tripped “yips!” She jumps over the ledge as she hung onto the building. There she saw through a window with a bathroom.

“Now what did Professor Ororo say?…don’t run with scissors…no…no cake before bed…no…that’s it don’t put a toaster in the bathtub!” She raised her hand as water bursted out from the bathroom so she flew up in open range

“So your not a chicken eh birdie” shocker aimed

“Nope, but I know you’re not water proof.” She brought over the water

“What the…#%%…”

She winks

“Ah nuts…” he tried to run but it was too late
as she threw it like a mini wave that covered the whole roof.

She felt some water splash onto her “ah that feels nice” hovered over the electrified water as she saw some buzzing “Ahh get it off get it off!” He’s become a living bio electrical hazard As he threw his gauntlets away but his suit is still full of tech.

“Yeesh.” She said “ok I’ll get you out just take off your suit and I’ll pull you up.” She offered her hand in a generous gesture as he instantly grabbed onto it for fear.

“Wow you must be a scared little guy aren’t ya?” She said in a rude way

“Shut up!” He denied it

She goes over to hover him to a different rooftop unaware that a mysterious skull masked man aims a rifle towards her.

*bang*

“Did you hear something?” She said

“T-that wasn’t me, I wasn’t whimpering you hear me!”

“No not your crying I heard a-

*zap*

“AAAAAAAHhhhh!!!”

Both got zapped by an electric bolo whip. As they landed on a dry rooftop. As the man walked to them

Ullr and Scott who has smolder on his back. run over to the dry rooftop Ullr steps over but Scott grabs him “careful look at that” he sees the shockers electrified gauntlets on the massive puddle.

“Oh thanks!” He looked around “where’s Silversteam?”

Scott looks around “shocker is missing too”

Ullr picks up his phone “Mega man could you use mayday’s tracker to find her?” He said as he recalled her hissy fit from when the met ronan.

“Got it” he replied as they waited “hmm… that’s strange I can’t find her signal…”

“What does that mean?” Scott asked but that could only

“It means that it was either destroyed or…short circuited” as he recalled her using water mixing with electricity.

“Why isn’t she here?” Ullr wondered

“Hang on!” Mega man felt something “I’m picking up a strange signal”

“Where?” Ullr asked

“Quick raise your phone up so I can trace it” he listens as he lifted up

“Any trouble?” A familiar voice which came from the top of the roof entrance. As Ullr looks up to see Sukea

Scott aims his visit “who are you!”

Ullr pats his back “don’t worry he’s okay”

“You know him?”

“Uh yeah remember the photographer mayday and Jameson hired?”

Scott understands “sigh apparently Peter’s Parker luck still has continued to spread even the his daughter’s friends.”

Smolder groans “wha? Sukea?”

“Thank Frigga you’re okay Smolder!” Ullr gets relieved “we need your help Sukea”

“What do you need.” He jumped down

“A second set of eyes would be nice, we can’t find-

“Got it!” Mega man has the signal

“Who said that?” Sukea asked

“Someone who has a lead on silverstream.”

“She’s missing?! well we gotta go!” Smolder jumps off of Scott “easy smolder” he kept her from stumbling

“I’m fine!” She said as she tried to shake off that attack “grr! If I ever see that…that…metal bug again I’m gonna fry it!” She said as they left.

“Easy, you’re not completely recovered, let’s call the others for help.” Mega man says as he calls Mayday

“Hmm…that’s odd, she always answers.”

Mayday and Ocellus are hiding behind a desk. As sandbar Yona and Gallus are fighting a guy in a bug suit.

“Is this one of your friends mayday?” Gallus joked

“Very funny!” She yelled unamused as she ducked

Yona throws a desk at the beetle

“Quick call the others!” Sandbar suggested

“I’m trying but I’m not getting reception.” Ocellus said

“Could it be that something’s blocking the signal?” Ullr said

“Well worry about that later” Scott said “right now we should find silverstream.”

After having smolder hover rooftop after rooftop with playing hot and cold with mega man. “You’re getting closer.”

“I hope you’re right.”

“Don’t worry I won’t let anything happen to your friend” mega man says with confidence

“Oh yeah? how are you gonna help out if you’re behind a screen?”

He chuckles nervously “you’d be surprised.” He then feels the strong signal again “over there!”

As she flew at a rooftop she came back and forth to pick up each one since they couldn’t fly.

They all surround a big box

Sukea threw a marble at it. It hit it as it ricocheted back to his hand. “The good news it’s not boobytrapped.”

Ullr opens to box which reveals a screen which turns on to reveal a tv projection of a guy in a mask. In caution, Sukea covers his face with a scarf.

“So you managed to follow my bread crumbs maybe you kids aren’t as green as I thought…”

“Who are you?” Ullr asked as mega man was scanning the communications

“You May find out once if you survive this ambush” the screen turns off as they hear some grapples cling onto the rooftop as multiple men show up.

“Wait that mask…” Scott was recalling something

“Smolder can you defend yourself?” Sukea asked

“Who do you think I am?” She answered rhetorically

“Everyone pick a corner to fight” Scott blasts some

Ullr jumps and grabs two heads to bash in and double kicks in a grunt behind the previous two.

“Ullr could you leave me by the box?” Mega man requested “why?”

“I think I can trace the call I just need a stronger connection”

“Leave that to me” Sukea offered as his aid

“Uh…okay but don’t scratch him…” Ullr said as he back kicked a grunt before giving the phone to Sukea.

Some gun men appeared next “crud! They got firearms!” Smolder said as she threw a guy.

Sukea headed back to the box “good now we just need to turn the box on It should take a minute but I-

He senses that the screen it back on as mega man looked at Sukea “h-how did you unlock it so fast?”

Sukea kept an electrified finger behind his back and round house kicked a guy. “Oh I simply jimmy the lock.” He said as he ripped a gun out of a guys hand and hit him with it and used said gun to trip another crook.

“Well thanks!” Mega man gets to work and syncs with the box.

Ullr jumps and dodged some bullets in the sky while Scott blasts the distracted gun men.

Finally Ullr lands on another gun with his legs around the guys head goes down and used his legs to throw the guy into another.

Smolder was rounding up all the guns. “All jerks totaled”

“Impressive form Ullr” Scott said “you’ve done good”

Just hearing that…made his eyes shine “Thanks professor.” Ullr really enjoyed his praise

“Heh what’s with you?” Smolder slapped his back “you sound like you’ve haven’t been praised before”

Ullr noticed his reaction and blushed “oh…uh…”

“Impressive work” the screen goes back to taskmaster “those were some of men best trained, I’m looking forward to learning what you could do.” The screen turns off

“Learn?” Smolder asked

“I’ve heard of this…this “lousy teammate” told me about taskmaster before” Scott said “he says that he has the ability to copy anyone he sees no matter how skilled.”

“Guys I got a link” they heard mega man as Ullr came to pick him up

“Well where is that bag of bones!” Smolder said

“Judging from the signal, the call appears to be coming from…east, the theatre district.”

The beetle blew up a storage facility that forced them back.

Mayday fell back under a computer screen “dang it it’s one guy” she mumbled then something caught her eye. A small device under neath the computer. She yanks it out “a jamming device…” she held it “no wonder we couldn’t call anyone.”
“You sneaky little punk!” She got pissed as she then tampered with it. With some finishing touches, she sneers as makes a slingshot with her webs and put the jammer in place.

The beetle shoots and the rest as Yona turns steel the blast reflected to certain areas destroying the area a little. “Doctor Richards won’t be happy.” Sandbar said on the ground injured

Ocellus turns into a lion and scratches at him but there’s no scratch marks. The beetle throws a flash grenade that blew up at her face

She turned back “uhhh my head I can’t see” ocellus felt helpless as she is shot with a net gun binding her on the floor.

But Yona punched the beetle to keep it away from ocellus. Yona tries to jump at him but the beetle changed the setting to a trap blast as she got hit with a white goo like substance as she got blasted back onto the wall “wha? Grrr rrrr! Yak is stuck”

The beetle prepares to blast her but Gallus grabs both his hands “nice try!” As he flies upwards to mess with the enemies balance.

“You can’t overpower me”. The beetle said in a creepy tone

“That’s your voice?!”

That comment made him grab his knuckles harder “gah!” He felt some pain “uhhh!…good thing I’m not trying to overpower you then.” He smirks in the pain

“What?”

The beetle felt something on its back as the jamming device is now on it. And it shot with a paralyzed shock “rahh my suit!”

“That’s not all you’re feeling!” Gallus opens his wings to shoot a lot of hard projectiles at his helmet as his wings then slammed against his head as his tail finally trips the beetle. The defeated enemy sees mayday standing over him.

“No one blocks my Connection!” Mayday said as she started stepping on the beetle a lot in frustration

Gallus flinched. As he saw the display as he began rubbing his sore claws, “I’ll just…go help the others” as he walks to free Yona first.

Smolder held Scott and Ullr they found themselves at a roof top near the center of the theatre district.

Ullr looks to see “Silverstream!”

As the unconscious Hippogriff is laying on the ground unconscious with a tied up naked shocker who’s bound to the ground.

“Get me outta here’s he’s crazy!” Shocker says

But they also see a guy standing on a water tower. “So you finally made it.” As task master lands “I was afraid this would take all day.”

“Just let us have our friend back or else we can’t be held responsible.” Ullr said in an upset tone

“Speak for yourself.” Smolder got angry burning up.

“Would that I could, I’ve got no beef with kids…unfortunately some big shot hired me to get rid of you.”

“Someone knows about us?” Ullr wondered ‘but who?’ He thought ‘we haven’t been revealed to the public yet. And the enemies we’ve faced don’t qualify as mastermind material’

“But I’m willing to…ignore my client…if you listen to my offer.”

“What do you want taskmaster!” Cyclops said

Taskmaster looks at the x mark on Scott “heh…I suppose that Harry midget Logan told you about me Hah! I’m guessing this pencil pusher is your teacher right?!”

Scott looks serious “talk.”

“You kids beat the living daylights out of my men.” He says “that’s only someone with true potential could carry.”

“Your point?” Ullr is unaware of what’s happening

“Your potential is being wasted working under that guy and his bald cripple.” He said “if you train under me, I’ll really show you why people don’t mess with me.” He holds out his hand

“You could become an even more amazing potential of Ani-mutants.”

“Amazing…ani-mutants?” Ullr says

“Don’t listen to him. Whatever he offers it’s not worth working under a merc they are loyal to anyone with a huge stack of cash it’s pathetic.”

“Agree to disagree specs.”taskmaster didn’t care “So what’s it gonna be?”

“I can’t speak for you guys” mega man said “but I like where we are.”

Ullr doesn’t speak

Smolder looks “I’ll be hurt Silverstream he can’t be trusted!”

He then recalls what he said after that battle with the fake doom. “Don’t worry, you’re right smolder.”

He then heard ringing from the cellphone
“Hello?”

“Ullr where have you been?!”

“Wha?! Arachnid you ok?!” He hears mayday shout

“NO! I’m not okay some guy In a beetle costume ranshacked the fantastic fours base and suddenly came at his guns blazing!!!!”

“What?!” Mega man said

Ullr thinks about it…”the beetle guy” he mumbled “that sounds like the same guy that attacked you smolder!”

“Why that!!!” She got steamed up

Taskmaster “so he failed his mission…well at least I know the rest of your are also tough as nails.”

“I’ll call you back” Ullr said “Wait don’t you dar-

He hung her up as he looks back to taskmaster “Sorry, I can’t join anyone who lays a finger on my friends.”

“As for me, I just don’t like you.” Smolder makes her fists go fiery.

“Suit yourself if I can’t have you. I’ll just take your skills.” He takes out a sword with his shield.

She flies towards him as he blocks his flying punch with his shield. She dodge a slash as she did a fire spit at his eye hole which blocks his vision. “Nasty!” As she kicked him

And Scott blasted him to force him back into a corner. So cyclops ran over to jump and kick at him then show a fist as taskmaster blocks and blocks another and leg sweeps Scott but Scott trips his feet with both legs as Ullr jumps up but taskmaster dodged it in time and kicks Ullr in the back. He catches smolders fist and and move around as he threw her away.

Scott gets behind him and holds his arms back with his but taskmaster busts his nose and throws him down as he stole his vision.

“Clever but not fast enough” as he points a gun at Scott but Ullr grabs his gun and but got kicked back.

“Fine be stubborn.” He pulled the trigger but nothing happened. As he then sees Ullr holding the cartridge of bullets in his hand.

“You’re pretty good.” He said as he puts his gun away and points his sword at him.

“Haah!” Smolder blows a loud roar of fire at him. It reveals a a field of fire but taskmaster jumps out

“Fireproof suit kid as he threw his shield as she dodged it but is hit with an electric bolo “raahh!”

Ullr jumps over and grabs his cape to cover his head. “You little!”

“You can’t copy what you can’t see.” In his bag he takes out a pellet “sorry mayday but this may help me out.” As he threw it

Before taskmaster could take off his cape the pellet exploded into a sticky web net. Ullr then kicks his chest and grabs his axe to chop off taskmaster’s belt And kicks it away. But Taskmaster took out a laser knife as it cut Ullr’s uniform and cut his bicep.

Ullr disarm him then punched his stomach hard twice. Then reverse hit him with his elbow. The hard blow knocked taskmaster on the ground.

Ullr quickly runs to cut free smolder “hey smolder?” He whispered “wake up!”

She got up as she groaned in pain “that was annoying.”

Smolder then looked up “look out!”

“Never turn your back on your opponent!” He jumped with his sword at them

Suddenly he got hit with his own electric bolo trap.

They look to see Sukea in his Kakashi appearance holding the belt “get silverstream and the criminal” he said “it’s my turn”

“Your turn?” Taskmaster cuts himself free. “I don’t know who you think you are but I doubt you’re a match for me.” He throws a punch but Sukea catches it.

“What?” He throws another one and Sukea kept blocking one blow after another.

Suddenly he found a kunai under his chin. “Your copy trick won’t work on me.” He dodged another attack and punched taskmaster.

He stumbled a bit back as he charged and threw a fist from the sky. Kakashi however simply took a step and pulled and upper cut breaking

Taskmaster covers his face “who are you?”

“Hmm…let’s just say…you not the only copycat anymore…” he smiled with his eye.

“Making fun of me are you he threw his knife at kakashi as he simply caught it with his two fingers.

Taskmaster makes a “tch” sound “alright, I know when I’m beat, I should have prepared more…” from his back he takes out a detonator. “Next time I won’t make the same mistake.” As he pressed it causing a couple of blinding flashes to cover everyone’s sight.

Ullr covers Scott, and the girls.

Kakashi covers his eye but then sees that taskmaster flew the coup, only a broken mask left behind.

“You guys alright?” Kakashi said.

“I’m not” shocked says

“I think so” Ullr says as he hands Scott his visor.

“Maybe it’s time I should introduce myself to your guardians once we regroup.” Kakashi said to Ullr for Scott to see

Silverstream gets up “uuhhh what happened?” She rubs her head “ohh! Wait did we catch the bad guy?!”

Ullr laughs as he and smolder hug her as they laugh too

“He’s right there” kakashi pointed to shocker. “Fine yes now can this bad guy get some pants?”

They return back to the fantastic fours base

“Is everything okay?” Scott said

Mayday ran to Ullr “give me your phone.”

As she transferred mega man back into her helmet. “Thank goodness you’re okay, did Ullr behave?”

“Don’t worry he treated me well.” Mega man said

“Well I guess you’re free to go.”

“That’s nice of y-
She grabbed his suit.
“But hang up on me again and you’ll be sorry…”

“We caught the beetle too” ocellus said “but he won’t come out”

“Actually can’t” mayday said “I made sure that he wouldn’t be able to try any tricks if his tricks were against him instead.”

She looks at the trapped guy “a beetle…’another enemy from dads from past.’

“Oh right I should probably call Jameson tell him that we’ll be a late.” Ullr said as he dials his number.

They hear the door open and turn to see the FF family returning

“Hey everyone you won’t believe what happened apparently a giant and some ghost girl challenged us to a fight.” Johnny said

“I’ve got some great data to record during the battle with the goliath that I can store to…to” he sees his bases smashed to pieces

“What in the sweet apple pie happened here?!” Ben said

“The kitchen!” Susan ran to check

“MY ROOM!” Johnny and Franklin said as they ran towards their rooms to see some destructive chaos and shout at the wall.

“My lab!” Reed got worried

“HE DID IT!!!!!!!” Ullr, Mayday, and the young six said as they pointed at the trapped beetle.

As Ben chuckled as Reed slapped his head.

Meanwhile Gorgon of the hand walks into a hand base in an unknown location.

He bows down as in front of him is a man sitting on a throne.

“Gorgon…intel tells me that you have had trouble in your previous encounter.”

“It was a slight miscalculation in my understanding. I should have gone alone and just observed.”

The man in the shadow rubs his chin “this is uncanny…no one in years has vested you.”

“I’ll never repeat my mistake.”

“Never say never…so who did best you?”

Gorgon only said this “the next generation of Meta superhumans.”

That’s it for this chapter

I was thinking of adding a female beetle but maybe another time.

Maybe next time a rematch with Sukea and Taskmaster could be longer.

Anyway now the Ani-Mutants know that someone is out to get them. They just don’t know who yet.
