Writing characters that are in-universe funny is very difficult. Writing characters that the audience laugh at but the other characters in the story don't find funny (Maud Pie, for example, or Sonata Dusk) isn't so bad, but when you write characters that the other characters also find funny, you're a bit stuck. Because if the other characters find it funny, then you have to show them laughing. And, at that point, you're writing characters laughing at a joke you yourself have written.

Laughing at your own jokes is rarely a good look, but it's doubly bad when you're laughing harder than everyone else. So you have to be as detached as possible, and as conservative in your estimates, about how funny a joke is, and have their reactions in line with that. If the characters are all chuckling away and the reader has barely cracked a smile then it quickly becomes very irritating. So you're trying to do something pretty tricky here.

Grew on me a while ago

A redemption story about a past antagonist falling in love with a hero. It's been done many times, sure, but this one stands out. Your blending of humour and seriousness feels well done, I can't wait to see where this story goes. Also I've never read a Pinkie x Adagio story before! Usually I don't like reading overly sensual stories but you bring a certain charm to this that really attracts my attention. Can't wait for the next chapter!
