Sending a search party

Cadence had seen the meteor land, and decided to send two guards to check it out. They set out, and reached the site. There was ash all over the snow, and smoke was still floating up from the meteor. They began to examine the remains, and found a large crystal under the rocky part of the meteor. They were about to look at it, when it suddenly cracked in half. A stallion emerged, and the guards could not tell who he was. He zapped them with his magic, and laughed in an evil tone. They were severely injured, and one of them was nearly dead. His partner rushed him back to Cadence.

"You could not identify the figure?", she asked worriedly.

The guard nodded sadly, and explained what they had seen. Cadence was shaken, because that sounded like somepony who had been defeated before she had Flurry Heart. She notified Celestia at once, and sent a call to Twilight.

"Twilight, this is Cadence. I need you to meet in Canterlot. We have a visitor who is impolite when being welcomed."
