A gryphon traveler seeks revenge against the Diamond Dogs who imprisoned him. However, the situation spirals out of control when his actions attract the eyes of several powerful organizations.
9666509 That's a very interesting question, Starlight Nova. I try to give each character a distinct way of speaking so that each is easily distinguishable from the other in any given scene, but the "voices" I give them tend to stem from their personalities and backgrounds.
Gobrend has a lilting, posh accent that places him as a member of gryphonic nobility; most diamond dogs lead violent lives as opposed to learned ones, so they tend to use more slang and have more guttural, rough voices; Brocarius speaks in a way I can only classify as "general," and that helps him fit in pretty much anywhere, a necessity for his line of work; and Sister Dawn, with her village having been isolated for centuries, speaks with a ye olde Equestrian accent reminiscent of aristocracy of antiquity and uses a lot of "thees," "thous," and other such archaisms. These are but a few examples, of course.
Thanks for the question, mate! It's good to hear from a reader.
If the main OCs in this story were voiced, what would they sound like?
