I actually read a fic where EQG RD wanted to get into aeronautics because of her brief experience with flight during the first movie.
But this seems just as in character.
And you managed to make the RainbowFire ship work in context of the fic, despite the fact that I hardcore ship SoarinDash (I forget if I've mentioned that before).
Speaking of ships, I'm curious what the NEXT Rainbow Dash ship you'll end up tackling will end up being. I have two that I hope to eventually see, but one's a M/F ship, and the other's a bit odd.
You make a story about racing cars....... And never thought about asking me for help?
My OC is literally made to race, his cutie mark are checkerd flags for christ sakes. In the EQG universe he drives a supercharged 1968 Dodge Charger equipped with clutchless 6 speed race transmission hooked up to a 572ci supercharged hemi, full roll cage and 5 point seat harnesses, and a fuel cell. And he drives that on the street daily.
Plus I also watch Roadkill. General Mayhem is my favorite project car they done
I also realized that Spitfire should think twice about putting RD in a drag car. RD isn't NHRA certified to operate a drag car and I'm pretty sure officals will refuse her to drive.
8240839 I could spoil the story. But after dealing with this kind of thing in the past, I won't. Suffice to say I have already written all of this I plan to, and when you see the bits you will know I have a little knowledge of this myself. I don't walk into a story blind of the facts needed to execute it.
Fun side fact, in the next chapter Spitfire will face a wrong Christmas tree. The correct tree for top fuel bracket is flash of all yellow and then green, but she gets a .500 staged. This is because on this day she is practicing, while later in the day low-tier events are actually happening.
8240877 Not spoiling is understandable. But in my case usually I prefer Stock Car Racing more tham drag racing....... well since I'm also the fifth generation in my family to stock car race. It runs in the family I guess
9062537 It's not. That's an old joke used by mechanics when they get a new apprentice who has no idea about cars, to make them confused. Also seen it used by them to add extra charges onto a bill.
This came to me as something uniquely Rainbow Dash. Speed in its purest form. Acceleration without limit. Loud enough to knock you down.
Two girls finding something very fun to do in a top fuel dragcar. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did writing.
It's not 90's metal, but was the first thing that came to my mind: https://youtu.be/RYnFIRc0k6E
Cheers!

8239251 The joke was actually originally about 80s hair metal, but it continued on into the 90s quite well. https://youtu.be/RMJtN22NzeA?t=2m16s
Just before writing I found myself needing extra motivation, so I watched me some Roadkill.
This was so hot it puts Celestia's sun to shame
Cars/sex/girls metaphors? Are those even possible?

A '68? Come on man...a '69 is better

How dare you! A 1968 Dodge Charger is a heirloom in my family! My grandfather had one

Relax, Buddy. All B-body chargers are off-the-damn-chain awsome. 572ci is a little overkill, though.
Who am I kidding? I got an OC with a '70 Impala sedan carrying an NRE Blown BBC and a 6-speed.
We're all guilty of big cubes and hot ass cars.

572 isn't overkill. 632 on the other hand that's overkill
