The parts about alcohol and drug abuse were Hunter Thompson-esque vivid (which reminds me of a certain audiobook I need finish)
The all out drunk/baked/almost-orgy got me ticked off a bit, but hey - that's just me being a little jealous. No frat parties in my college years and only one dude to blame :)
Tearing at PUAs and Game was fun - having just a cursory knowledge of both the PUA-community and the Game itself, I'll reserve any judgement about whether it was spot on or not. But it was a good read. Much better than the whole "Winning pony" universe, that I initially mistook for the first attempt to in introduce "ponies and pick-up" shtick.
The character was well balanced, weaknesses and strengths nicely played out mercilessly. The whole dynamic between Chowder, Featherweight and Pip was well done. Pacing - superb.
Great work, the worst thing about it being the sense of finality in the last paragraphs, like the protagonist's character development arc was being properly nailed down to the ground, to prevent any possible sequels.
Glad you liked it! Yeah, most of the clops will actually be shortish but still multi-part affairs, with the clop balanced out by story. Hopefully that will work, a bit, maybe.
God, I'm so outrageously gay, even I find it funny sometimes. At least inside my head. There are plenty of thoughts I would never say... and I have quite a few after reading that... I may have a crush on Rumble after that and this story. I might. Just maybe. It would be absurd for you to assume something like that.
I didn't really like the way you semi-glorified substance use in first half. A lot of teens are on this site and they really don't need to hear about how great it is to get high three different ways at once from their Ol' Uncle Chuckfinley.
Other than that this had me nearly killing myself holding in the laughs so people didn't think I was a psycho for cackling madly. Riding along with Pip was fantastic and all the characters felt like real ponies. Tremendously enjoyed the whole thing.
I was purposely avoiding the term 'abuse' because I think you portrayed a fairly responsible mindset for use and experimentation, I.e. being with people you trust, a (mostly) controlled environment, acknowledging personal limits, etc.
I'm just always surprised when I read other comments indicating ages of 13-17, and I know nowadays kids can get their hands on some pretty dangerous stuff. Pretty much just a knee jerk reaction due to the bad experiences of people I know.
This story is so unbelievably cute and awesome. I loved it!
Seems remarkably similar to the writing style of James Muchamore (Author of the CHERUB series), which is part of the reason why I loved it. Well-rounded characters, mostly believable situations and it was all relatable yet at the same time so apart from the usual reality for most people. It was absolutely amazing, and I'm a little sad that I can only give it one thumb up. More people need to read this story, methinks, simply because of how stupidly adorable and awesomely splendid it is.
Pretty super duper pretty mega awesomeness super please with cherries and sugar and candy canes and cakes and chimicherrychangas write another story about teenage Pipsqueak?
Thanks for the wonderful read, it really brightened up my day and now I'm basically curled into a little ball ( in my head, I'm not that dorky. ) squealing like a school-girl because of the adorable and amazingness. Thank you!
Hey! Huge Xenophilia fan here, thanks for uploading that story. Really glad you like Pipsqueak's Day Off, and yes, the fivesome will be one of the sequels! I'd love to know what you think about my other pieces, and I'll just squee if you leave comments on them.
I can give you no better advice than Cliff Pervocracy, who knows what's what. Just start going through the pervocracy archives and it'll give you a big boost for all things related to that.

What episode is that ?
That's Pip's coltfriend ?

Not sure which episode. Not Pipsqueak's boyfriend. Read the story for context.
This was fun.

I disagree about the substance abuse stuff, but I'm from rural England. We're quite blasé about that sort of thing round these parts. Most of the people I know started drinking at 13-14, and a lot of people smoked sensi by the time we were in sixth form. Teenagers binging is just normal.
Very glad to hear you liked the story otherwise

Yes. This one is probably my favourite. And I'm bashing one out right now that I think you'll just love...

Indeed it is. Wrote that chapter a week after seeing it in the cinema. I'm a naughty, naughty plagarist...
