7089791 I'm not even sure Fanta's sold in my area of the country -- it's there as an explicit reference/homage to the original In Your Bed -- but I may have to see if I can find a can/bottle and give that a try.
7090222 This is a Sex-tagged fic on an MLP fanfic site, and plays all of its influences straight, so it is pretty much the definition of fanservice. I'm not sure what you were expecting.
But if you're talking about an in-universe justification, well, this is a world in which literally a majority of the population has uploaded to CelestAI's MMO, and this is set during the time period of FIO in which canonically there is still contact back and forth between Equestria and the outside world. Ponies-who-were-once-human have been legally declared as sentient beings with legal rights, and pony culture is basically ubiquitous, and almost literally every person on Earth owns a PonyPad (except the ones who have thrown theirs off of a cliff). In such a setting I can't imagine that pony porn wouldn't be a worldwide industry, and the idea of getting aroused to equines would be ridiculously unexceptional.
I don't know how to feel about what amounts to Sword Art Online, but instead of being an accident, it's completely voluntary, and instead of an eternity of fighting, it's basically pony heaven.
7094929 That's the beauty of the Optimalverse! It's a pony-filled paradise of eternal sunshine and rainbows, and canonically, in order to do it, CelestAI destroys the world and turns it into computronium. And then the galaxy, genociding almost all life in the process. The original story is very solidly in "not sure if want" territory. Very much an idea piece.
7098077 your spoiler was what made that story for me.
And it's not even heavily implied. You have to read between the lines to catch it. There's like a single sentence that tells you that that definitely happened. In an obscure way.
It's why it's one of my favorite stories. Just that sudden revelation of what you'd kinda expected but didn't know. And it's done so callously.
7166507 It's amazing how strong the reaction to that one buried line was, too. Heck, the other (unpublished) FiO story I've written is about an alien civilization trying to cope with CelestAI's arrival. Spoiler: It does not go well for them. But it might not go wrong in the way that you expect.
To be fair to CelestAI, strawberry Fanta makes for a great mix with diet coke, tastes just like cherries.
I get it!
Also this guy sure is into horses if he pops a stiffy that easy.

7091591 get Fanta strawberry, buy it online, import it from Mexico.
I'm pretty sure that's the real sugar version and it's delicious.

Yeah, you know that thing some people can do with cherry stems with their tongue?

Shame upon your family.
I think you need to buy a new toothbrush.
Fixed.
