Go go Megaforce 2: The Eternal Nightmare

The Dark Samurai

In another dimension, in the magical land of Equestria, Princess Celestia is the last hope to protect her world against evil.

1000 years ago, in the castle of the two sisters.

"Luna, I will not fight you! You must lower the moon! It is your duty!" Princess Celestia said,

"Luna? I am... Nightmare Moon! I have but one royal duty now: to destroy you!" the pony that had been Princess Luna replied,

Nightmare Moon fired a blast at Celestia. Who managed to fly out of the way of the blast before it hit,

"And where do you think your going?" Nightmare Moon smirked, she took off after Celestia,

After a furious dual, one of Nightmare Moon's shots hit Celestia, knocking her to the ground,

"Oh, dear sister. I am sorry" Celestia said, getting back up to face the pony that had once been her sister, "but you have given me no choice but to use these."

From out of the castle floor rose a stone pedestal with some colourful jewels resting on it. Celestia, using her magic, grabbed the jewels from their resting place, then from out the center of the pedestal rose a star shaped jewel.

All six jewels now spinning around her, Celestia took flight to face Nightmare Moon again,

Nightmare Moon tried to fight back, but her magic was not enough to stop the power that Celestia welded,

Her eyes soaked with tears Celestia fired a powerful blast from the jewels at Nightmare Moon.

Banishing her to the moon.

Equestria, the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration a thousand years later, the ruined castle of the two sisters

"You little foal! Thinking you could defeat me? Now you will never see your princess, or your sun! The night will last forever!" Nightmare Moon gloated, as she shattered the Elements of Harmony,

Twilight Sparkle turned to hear her friends rushing to her location, that's when it hit her,

"You think you can destroy The Elements of Harmony just like that? Well, you're wrong, because the spirits of The Elements of Harmony are right here" Twilight said, as her friends joined her,

"What?" Nightmare Moon asked, shocked

"Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of... honesty! Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of... kindness! Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of... laughter! Rarity, who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift represents the spirit of... generosity! And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire represents the spirit of... loyalty!" Twilight stated,
"The spirits of these five ponies got us through every challenge you threw at us" she continued,

"You still don't have the sixth Element! The spark didn't work!" Nightmare Moon replied, defiantly.

"But it did! A different kind of spark. I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear my friends, to see them, how much I cared about them" Twilight continued, turning to her friends "The spark ignited inside me when I realized that you all... are my friends! You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by the... the spark, that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the sixth element: the element of... magic!" Twilight finished, as she and her friends joined together as one.

The moment they joined a rainbow beam shot from them, heading straight for Nightmare Moon,

"Nooo! Nooo!" Nightmare Moon cried, raring up on her hind legs, but it was too late, the rainbow vortex engulfed her, purging the evil from Princess Luna.

After a long recovery, Twilight and her friends could see that Nightmare Moon had vanished, leaving only Princess Luna.

"I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister!" Luna said, tears filling her eyes as she hugged her big sister,

"I've missed you, too" Celestia replied, smiling at her sister,

While this was happening, a small cloud of brilliant blue mist seeped away into the shadows, "This is not over! I will return and when I do I will show no mercy" it hissed in an angry whisper before vanishing.

In Princess Celestia's happy reunion with her little sister, the ponies had not seen or heard those words.

At the command centre of the Super Megaforce Power Rangers everything was peaceful. The Rangers were currently away from the command centre, Gosei was in deep thought,

"Is something wrong, Gosei?" asked Tensou, Gosei's robotic assistant.

"It is nothing, Tensou" Gosei replied, "I was just thinking about the Armada, there hasn't been an attack for a while now."

"Maybe they've got tired?" suggested Tensou.

"That is highly unlikely" said Gosei, "the Armada never tire and they never give up."

Just then an alarm sounded. "What is it, Tensou?" asked Gosei. Tensou checked a monitor screen "There's a disturbance downtown" he replied.

"Tensou, alert the Rangers" Gosei commanded.

"Right Gosei, but there something weird about the disturbance" Tensou said,

"What's so weird about it, Tensou?" asked Gosei,

"There seems to be a ranger energy reading coming from the the centre of the disturbance" he replied,

"That sounds weird indeed" Gosei said.

In downtown Harwood, California the Super Megaforce Power Rangers had been contacted and alerted to the disturbance.

"Tensou said the disturbance came from somewhere around here" said Troy Burrows, the Super Megaforce Red Ranger.

"He also said that there was a ranger energy reading too" replied Orion, the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger.

"How could there be a ranger energy reading?" asked Jake Holling, the Super Megaforce Green Ranger.

"I don't know, how but we'll soon find out" said Gia Moran, the Super Megaforce Yellow Ranger.

"Let's get ready" said Noah Carver, the Super Megaforce Blue Ranger.

"Right, it's morphing time!" said Emma Goodall the Super Megaforce Pink Ranger.

All six Rangers draw out their morphers, "Go, Go Megaforce!" they all yelled.

As they morphed each Ranger called out his or her roll call,

"Fury of the Dragon! Megaforce Red!" said Troy,

"Bite of the Shark! Megaforce Blue!" said Noah,

"Venom of the Snake! Megaforce Black!" said Jake,

"Claw of the Tiger! Megaforce Yellow!" said Gia,

"Flames of the Phoenix! Megaforce Pink!" said Emma,

"Super Megaforce Silver!" said Orion,

"Right, don't let your guard down" Troy said, after he and the others had morphed.

Just as Troy finished what he was saying a nearby building crumbled to the ground, the cause of the destruction soon followed,

"What?!" Troy gasped,

"Impossible" Noah gasped, he was equally shocked as Troy was,

"Jayden?" Gia asked,

For there in front of the Rangers was another ranger who looked like the Red Samurai Ranger except that he had black gloves and jacket on.

"Hey Jayden, nice jacket" Jake said, walking up to the silent samurai. The ranger said nothing, but as Jake reached out to touch his shoulder, he was hit by a powerful blast of flame from the ranger's samurai sword.

"Hey man, what gives" Jake said, getting up and rejoining the others,

"I am no friend of yours" the Dark Red Samurai Ranger growled, "I am here to deliver a message from my prince to you"

"What's the message?" Troy asked,

"He has returned, you thought you destroyed him but defeat means nothing to him" the Dark Ranger replied,

"Whoever your boss is, we can take him down" Orion said, defiantly

Orion and the other Rangers drew out their weapons:

Troy's Dragon sword,

Noah's Shark bowgun,

Jake's Snake axe,

Gia's Tiger claw,

Emma's Phoenix shot and Orion Super Sliver Spear.

"Your little weapons can not touch me" the Dark Ranger mocked,

"We'll see about that" Troy said, he charged at the Dark Ranger, he took a powerful swing at him with his Dragon sword, but the Dark Ranger dodged the weapon before it could even touch him,

"You call that a sword?" the Dark Ranger said, sarcastically "This is a sword" he said, and in a flash of dark energy the Dark Ranger's sword transformed into a dark version of the Shark sword. The Dark Ranger's Shark sword preceded to strike Troy with incredibly vicious attacks, sending Troy flying backwards.

"Troy, are you alright?" Gia asked, helping Troy up

"This guy's just too strong" Jake said,

"If you want to defeat us then what are you waiting for?" Noah asked,

The Dark Ranger sighed, "the only reason I'm not destroying you is because my master has other plans for you" with that the Dark Samurai Ranger evaporated in a cloud of black mist that quickly disappeared.

The Rangers demorphed out of their ranger forms, "What was that all about?" Orion asked

"I don't know, maybe Gosei may have some answers" Troy replied,

The Rangers made their way back to the command center,

"Rangers, I am glad to see you are alright" Gosei said, as the Rangers entered

"That makes two of us" admitted Tensou,

"Gosei, Do you know anything about an Evil Samurai Ranger?" asked Troy,

"Not to my knowledge" replied Gosei,

"Well there is one thing we do know" Noah interjected,

"And what would that be?" asked Jake,

"While we were fighting my morpher was picking up some strange energy" Noah continued, "Its an energy not like anything I've ever seen"

"Maybe I can identify it for you" replied Gosei,

Noah plugged his morpher into a computer outlet, Gosei began to examine the energy readings. While Gosei was doing this an alarm sounded, "Now what?" Jake sighed,

"There seems to be another disturbance downtown" Tensou said, checking some readouts

"We're on it" Troy said,

"I will alert you when we I have identified the energy" Gosei told the Rangers as they rushed out of the command center.

Once they were alone Gosei poured over the readings,

"This energy seems familiar to me somehow" Gosei said, as he studied the readings,

"How so?" Tensou asked,

"Something my mentor Zordon, told me about once" Gosei replied, "of a princess named Luna, consumed by rage and jealousy for her big sister, so much that it turned her into a monster",

"What do you mean, a monster?" asked Tensou,

"She was so dangerous, that her sister was forced to make a terrible decision" Gosei answered, he tried to finish on that point, as the story was too hard and painful for him to continue.

"What decision?" Tensou inquired,

"She banished her sister to..." Gosei seemed to waver,

"To where?" asked Tensou,

"The moon" Gosei finished, his voice quivering,

"That's horrible" Tensou replied,

"If she hadn't her land would have been plunged into eternal night, it wasn't decision she like doing, Tensou. It was a bitter pill to swallow but she did anyway", Gosei concluded.

There was a moment of silence,

"I will check the readings again" Tensou said,

"I'll wait for a proper answer before we alert the Rangers" Gosei agreed.
