The Heart of Darkness
Inside the Castle of the Two Sisters. Shadow, Rouge, Luna, Proto Man and Gemerl reappeared inside the castle.
"We're here," Shadow said, he handed the Chaos emerald to Rouge.
"Nice place," Gemerl remarked, sarcastically.
"We should get moving," added Proto man "we don't know what could larking in here."
"Right" Luna nodded.
The group started walking, checking around every corner.
From his throne room, Vrak watched the group move slowly around the castle.
"Let the games, begin," he laughed.
He turned to his servants, "Entertain our guests, if you please" he smiled.
Back with the group, who were still walking through the castle.
"Didn't we come through here, already?" Rouge asked, as they passed a tattered tapestry of Celestia on wall.
"Everything looks the same in this castle" Shadow sighed.
"It's almost like the castle is moving" Gemerl said.
"That's ridiculous," corrected Proto man "buildings can't move."
Suddenly the floor they standing on started shifting, a wall sprang in the middle of the room.
"What was that?!" Shadow asked.
"I think the building just moved" Gemerl stated, sarcastically.
"Where's Luna?" Proto man asked, looking around.
"She was ahead of us," replied Rouge.
Proto man realised what had happened, "Luna! Luna!" he cried, pounding on the wall in front of them.
"Blues!" Luna's scared voice replied, through the wall.
"Arr...guys I think we've got company," Gemerl cut in.
The others turned to see a group of dark rangers: Dino Thunder White ranger, A-squad Blue ranger and Lightspeed rescue Titanium ranger. Along with them, were a group ponies who looked just like Twilight and the others: a Rarity look-alike, only with a pink mane and tail along with pink hat on her head and gauntlet on her right hoof; a Rainbow Dash look-alike, only with a slightly less coloured body, mane and tail along with some strange earpieces jutting out of her head; and lastly a Twilight look-alike, only coloured a darker shade of purple.
To add to that they even had different cutie marks.
"Yo, whats up?" the Rainbow Dash clone asked, pointing an arm cannon weapon at the group.
"Let's have some fun," Dino Thunder White growled.
"The Master has plans for Luna," Lightspeed rescue Titanium ranger gloated.
"Time to cause some chaos," the Twilight clone said, with an insane smile on her face.
"Bring it on!" Proto man said, readying his shield.
"Mine!" the Rarity clone screamed, her eyes fixed on Proto man's helmet. The gauntlet on her hoof glowed and a pair of three-fingered claws materialised in midair.
"Chaos spear!" Shadow cried, he hurled an energy spear at the dark rangers.
"This is the ultimate life form?" Lightspeed rescue Titanium ranger laughed, as he dodged Shadow's attack, "looks more like the ultimate wimp."
"How dare you?!" Shadow fumed, as he lunged at the dark ranger.
"Blues!" Luna cried, tears forming in her eyes.
She was alone in the darkness of the castle, "It's all my fault" she said, trying to hold back her tears.
"You are right, Luna," a voice replied, out of the darkness, "all of this... is your fault, you brought this darkness here."
"Who's there?!" Luna cried, her voice starting to shake.
"It's me, Luna," the voice replied, and from out of the dark a figure stepped forth.
"Who are you and how dare you wear the form of one of my friends?!" Luna said, horrified at what stood before her.
The figure laughed, "Oh, how ironic fate can be, the princess of the night is afraid of the darkness that she controlled."
"Who are you, demon? And how do you know who I am?" Luna asked, still scared.
The figure said nothing more, just lowered his head and walked slowly back into the dark, leaving Luna alone again.
"It's all your fault," the words came out of the dark, as if coming from the very air itself, "it's all your fault."
"No, No!" Luna cried, covering her ears, as the voices closed in on her.
"It's all you fault," the voices continued.
"ENOUGH!" Luna thundered, tearing streaming down her face. "You've had your fun and games, you've had me suffering from my guilt like a prisoner in a cell, but this has gone on far enough. This our fight, you and me, Vrak! Stop hiding behind your creations and servants, I want to see you, face to face. Come on out!"
The voices stopped and the castle started to move.
Back outside, on the battlefield, onboard Sky Patrol.
Sally, the CMC and Nicole sat a consoles on the command deck giving support to the heroes in the field.
"Rex! You've got a platoon coming in at eleven o'clock high!" Sally said, monitoring Rex's progress.
"Sonic! Rainbow Dash! the Mavericks and the Star Droids are overwhelming Team RWBY," Scootaloo continued,
"Thanks Scoot! Me and Sonic will give them some support," Rainbow Dash's voice replied.
"Virgil! Bunny needs cover. Dante! Mega Man needs help dealing with Sliver Sonic and Mecha Sonic!" Sweetie Belle continued.
"Fox! look out on your right!" Apple Bloom finished.
"Nicole?" Sally asked.
"All the Sky Patrol's weapons are armed and ready" Nicole replied.
"They're out numbered two-to-one out there! I've got to join the fight" Sally said,
"Apple Bloom! Stay here!" she said, as turned to exit Sky Patrol, "same for you, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo I don't want to lose you to those monsters out there."
"Yes, Ma'am!" the CMC replied.
"I will protect the children, Sally" Nicole added.
"Nicole, you have command of the bridge, keep us in the air," Sally continued, as she left "fire all weapons on my single."
"Aye-Aye," Nicole replied.
"Right," the CMC nodded.
On the Battlefield.
"You fight well, demon hunter," a robot called Squid Adler said, as he and Dante battled
"You haven't seen anything yet," Dante replied.
"Ha!" Squid Adler laughed, he landed a powerful blow to Dante with one of his tentacles, knocking him back a few feet.
"Guess what," Dante said, getting back up to face the robot, "I'm sending you straight to the scrapheap."
In a flash Dante transformed into his Devil Trigger form, a transformation that taps into his demonic heritage to unleash his true devil form.
"Come at me!" Squid Adler growled.
"Let's rock" Dante said, drawing his sword, now in it's awakened mode. 
Elsewhere, on the battlefield.
Virgil and Antoine, fought back to back against the robots: Metal Tails, E-106 Eta and hordes of Motobugs.
"Zere seems to be no end to zese zings" Antoine grunted, as he sliced another Motobug.
"Agreed, these machines are starting to annoy me," Virgil replied, as he dodged E-106 Eta's attack, while trying to attack the robot with his sword, called Yamato, a katana that could cut through space itself. 
"I think it's time to turn up the heat," Virgil said, seeing that his attacks weren't doing much.
Antoine was about to reply, but didn't when Virgil transformed into his Devil Trigger form and with lighting fast moves, he sliced off one of E-106 Eta's arms.
Elsewhere, on the battlefield.
"We need a direct hit on Eggman's giant robot," Rex said, as the Egg Beater advanced on them, its checker-wrecker-ball flail ready.
"You got any ideas?" Sonic asked.
"One, but you have to trust me," Rex replied, "when I fire you gotta make your spiky spiny ball thing."
"You're not thinking of...?" asked Sonic.
"Yep," Rex smiled.
"Isn't that dangerous?" Sonic asked.
"Probably," Rex answered.
"On three," Sonic grinned, he got into position.
"I've officially decided I like you, Sonic the Hedgehog," Rex said.
"Same here, Generator Rex," Sonic replied.
In a flash, Rex formed his giant projectile cannon, called the Slam Cannon, 
"One," Sonic began, the maw on the back end of the cannon extended and grabbed him.
"Two," Rex continued, he pulled his goggles on so he could see any weak points in the Egg Beater's armour.
"Three!" he finished and fired Sonic out of the cannon.
Sonic quickly curled himself into a ball ready to spin dash through the Egg Beater.
Back in the castle of the Two Sisters.
Luna, with a mixture of anger and fear in her, walked along a dark corridor into what looked like a throne room.
"Vrak, I am here," Luna said.
From out of the darkness a pony that looked like Princess Celestia approached.
"I've been waiting for you," she said.
"Celestia, is that you?" Luna answered, horrified.
"I am the pony you swore to protect," Celestia replied, she looked like she had been drained of the good in her.
"No, it's a trick, I know it! You're not my sister, I must destroy you," Luna told herself, and yet in front of her was Celestia.
"Destroy me, little sister?" Celestia replied, "You cannot destroy me, no more than you can destroy loyalty, or honesty, or friendship, or darkness."
"Darkness is nothing without light," Luna cried.
"Out of nothing you came and it is into nothing that you will go," Celestia answered.
"The people of the multiverse are builders and heroes," Luna argued, "Look into their hearts...."
"And you will find that they have also the power to destroy," interrupted Celestia, "I am that power, I am destruction...And I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
"But you're my sister you wouldn't want to hurt me," Luna stated, defiantly.
"You expected something else?" Celestia asked, "something like....THIS?" in a flash the apparition faded replaced by Vrak.
He laughed, "Did you miss me, princess?"
"Where are my friends, you demented tyrant!" shouted Luna.
Vrak gestured as the Dark Rangers and the insane versions of Twilight and the her friends entered, they dropped a familiar looking helmet along with two gold rings on the floor. It was Proto Man's helmet and Shadow's inhibitor rings.
"No, I can't be too late," Luna cried, tears in her eyes "I can't".
"I believe suffering would do good things....for your soul," Vrak gloated, "When you and your friends set foot in this place you surrendered your right to live."
Finally Luna lost it. "What did you freaks do to them!?" she shouted.
"What does it feel like?" Vrak asked, "to know that four more souls have been lost to a mistake you make."
"Enough! I came here to destroy you and that's what I will do," Luna replied, angrily.
"Come on, little princess show me what you got," Vrak smiled, he transformed into a fusion of Nightmare Moon and his Earth Armour form.
Luna drew out her sword and charged at Vrak, he simply knocked her back with the blades on the wrists.
She got back up and charged at him again, only to be knocked back again.
"You couldn't defeat me if you wanted to," Vrak remarked.
Luna got up one more time and charged at Vrak again, like last time she was knocked to ground.
"If you have all that power, then why don't you finish me?" Luna asked, getting back to her feet.
"I want to see begging and screaming for mercy," Vrak smiled.
"I won't give up," Luna replied, "as long as there is life there is always hope!"
From inside Twilight's castle, a chest was shaking. It was the chest that Gosei had given Luna, when she, Twilight and her friends came to the Power Ranger's world, Gosei had given the Mane Six ranger powers at the time and had given Luna some legendary items: a sword, a disc and the chest. The chest would only give its power to those who were pure of heart, The chest sprang open and a orb of light flow out of it and headed straight for the Castle of the Two Sisters.
"And your life is mine to take," Vrak continued, he prepared a big ball of dark energy and fired it at Luna.
But before it could hit her, a ball of light rushed in and blocked Vrak's attack then turned into a ghostly figure. It was the Red Time Force Ranger, Wesley "Wes" Collins.
"How dare you interfere!" thundered Vrak, he fired another blast, but the Ghost Ranger blocked it again and fired a blast of light knocking Vrak down.
"Spirit, why are you here?" Luna asked.
"Your pureness of heart in the face of this evil has deemed you worthy to receive the Battle Fire through the use my battlizer, you and you alone have the power to stop this eternal night," the ghost Ranger replied.
The spirit turned into a small ball of light and Luna took it in her hoof, she threw her sword to the ground, and turn to face Vrak.
"You, like your sister, will fall at my hands," Vrak said, getting to his feet.
"I have no intention of being defeated again," Luna replied, "and here's why" she showed Vrak the ball of light.
"No it can't be....the Battle Fire!" Vrak gasped.
"Right," Luna replied, "and as Rainbow Dash would say 'let's do this'."
Luna pressed the ball of light to her chest, causing it to burst into flames and the flames to consumed her whole body, covering it in red and golden flame armour.
When the flames had cleared, Luna had donned the armour of the Red Battle Warrior.
"Now we end this demon," Luna said, drawing the armour's Fire Saber.
Luna and Vrak both charged at the each other.
