Change...ling?

The big window facing out in the direction of the pony world explodes and a unicorn lays in the mess of broken glass. She just lays there until she bolts up with a protection spell around her.

"This is not good," I hear her mutter. Lily takes a step forward with a curious but sympathetic smile.

"No it's not. This is awesome!" That's when I notice who exactly this pony is. She is one of the ponies Lily turned into as she fell. Red mane with pink bangs, sunset orange coat and bright grey, almost white eyes, a sunflower cutie mark and looked to be around my age. I get up with a bloody cough and wobble over to lean on Lily mirroring her expression.

"I'm sorry," she said as she slowly backed up against the wall, "please don't kill me," she said with a gulp, looking back and fourth between me and Lilly.

"Your a pony aren't you? Not a Changeling," I asked her. From her reaction I highly doubt she was a changeling, and her panicking isn't really helping her case. Were she a changeling than she probably would have bowed by now.

"Yeah," she said nervously. She then took a deep breath and looks me right in the eye, "I didn't mean to come here, my horn lit up a shot me into your window," I look at her carefully, doesn't seem like she's hurt, so that's good.

"What's your name?" Lily asks with a smile. I can see her trembling from what I can only guess as excitement. Guess she never saw a real life pony before.

"Rosette Flare, but you can call me Rosette though. Yours?" she asked with a smile, she looks like she's calmed down a bit.

"I'm Lily and this is Blossom..." I push Lily as hard as I can cutting her off as she changes, this time 'Rosette' isn't in the mix. "HEY!!!!!" Lily yells as she stands back up to glare at me. I just beam a proud smile back at her.

"Do you know any of those ponies?" I ask turning towards Rosette. She nodes yes, "who?"

"The older two are apart of the Elements of Harmony. Applejack, the earth pony, is honesty. Rainbow Dash, the other one, is loyalty. I think they just had their third kid yesterday. The older two are twins and are about my age. They're two of the three in there. The rainbow earth pony and the pegasus that has a similar mane and tail to mine. The other one is the daughter to the Element of Magic. That's all," my smile got bigger and bigger as she named each of the ponies on our little list.

"What are the younger ones names?" I demanded, stepping closer to the young mare.

"The twins are Zap Apple and Malia. The other is Malady Sparkle. Need anything else?" she asked with a smile, but it was clear she was getting uncomfortable.

"Find them. I need to meet them. Find them and bring them here!" Lily demands as she literally jumps with joy.

"F-find and c-catch them? B-bring them into the Changeling castle!? No no no no no no no, I can't do that!" She says taking a step back.

"Why not?" Lily whines loudly. I think she may have ruptured one of my ear drums.

"That's filly napping! I don't even know if it's possible. Two of them live in the royal castle it's self and the other with one of the most magically powerful unicorn alive!" she panics, falling into a fetal position and starts rocking herself back and fourth.

"So. No point in not trying." She says while giving her glare, causing Rosette to flinch back slightly.

"Here's the point, I could be banished to the moon or Twilighted to death! I have no chance!" She does a wave of her hoof, tears welling up in her eyes, probably thinking of how she could survive on the moon. I don't see a problem though, it's made of cheese ri-ARGH! All of a sudden my organs feel like they're on fire! My legs buckle underneath me, my insides feel like they're on fire! The last thing I see before blacking out is Rosette and Lily coming to my side. And then, nothing.

"You need to get those ponies here! If there's any chance of saving her they need to be here now!" I hear Lily say before opening my eyes with a grown. I yelp out as a sharp pain flies through my body.

"W-what's going on?" my mouth feels dry, I can barely breathe.

"You don't talk, don't move!" Lily demanded as she put a comforting hoof on my chest, "you go get those ponies!!!!" Lily growls, moving from me to Rosette, venom dripping from her voice. I-it was kind of scary honestly.

"Okay okay I will! I promise!" She cried before scuffling out the door. Lily sighs in relief as Rosette leaves the room. She turns to me with a reassuring smile, her hoof gently caressing my cheek, it felt...warm.

"I'm known for my honesty and Rosette told me of her loyalty. I'm going to give you the honest truth, we won't give up, I won't give up! Me and Rosette will save you, and she won't stop trying to help you!" she said looking straight into my eyes. I barely know her and yet, for some reason I couldn't help but believe her. The pain is too much though. I close my eyes, I just want to sleep. Right before I do I hear her mummer, "and I truly hope she doesn't, because we don't have much time..."

"Why did I agree to this?" I beret myself while wobbling slightly from the window sill outside the room housing Malia, oh I am so getting the death penalty for this! "Well, no turning back I guess," I said to myself as I took a deep breath, and teleported inside. Malia does a surprised cough before holding whatever is in her hoofs closer.

"What do you want?" No fear is in her voice, just curiosity. "Who are you?" she asks with a tilt of her head.

"I need to take you and your sister with me. My name is Rosette. Your Malia right?" I wanted to make sure these were the right fillies, after all, what's the point of foalnapping if you foalnap the wrong ones?

"You can call me Tilley. Which sister and why?" she asks with a raised eyebrow, still unaware of what was to happen.

"You and Zap Apple have to help me, you're my only hope," I couldn't help but choke on those words, tears streaming down my face. "Please?" my voice cracks.

"Why are you crying?" she asked as she went up to me, putting a gentle hoof against my own.

"I don't know," I admitted as I dropped to my haunches, "wh-what are you holding?" I asked her with a smile.

"My little sister. Snowy Water! She was born today. I'm just hoping mom can make it through this one. Mum didn't do very well last time." She coughs a little but keeps smiling.

"That's nice to know. That's enough stalling." I cast the same spell I did to get me to the changeling castle in the first place, it engulfs both of us and shoots us straight there. This time I'm prepared and catch us before we hit the ground to have a safe landing. I look at her with a apologetic smile that quickly fades. "Right." The crying fills the room echoing off the high walls.

"Shhh. It's okay! Stop your crying," She says lightly shaking the bundle in her hooves, and turns to glare at me, "you shouldn't have brought her here," she growls at me.

"Oops," Today really isn't my day. Right then and there Lily walks in and just stares.

"You were only expose to bring the twins! Not one twin and the baby!" she scolded me, why is everypony scolding me!? I'm trying my best!

"I didn't mean to but she was holding the baby when I cast the spell!" I explained, causing Lily to facehoof. Then a split second later gets hit by a flying pony. In a mess of feathers and colors are Lily and from the looks of it Zap Apple.

"Um, Lily I think I got all three sisters!" I smiled, yay! Now I won't be scolded!

"No duh," she helps the other up just to have her buck her across the room with a very angry look on her face.

"Nice to know I'm wanted," She said with a sarcastic edge to her voice turning to look right at Rosette. "Now why exactly are you helping them?" she turns to glare at me. Oh, today really isn't my day.

"I couldn't just let her die, I'm sorry Zappy," I replied, though Zaps expression softens.

"Die?" she murmured, "what do you mean?"

"Her name is Blossom, she's in the bed," I gesture towards said bed. My vision got clouded by tears.

Zap consciously walks over to the bed only to gasp when she sees Blossoms face. "Dark Blossom?" Her weak head shakes slightly. "I'm sorry!"

"N-not your fa-fault." Blossom sputters out. Tears of worry. understanding, and anger stream down Zaps face as she turns to us.

"I'll get Malady and the elements. Come on Rosette we have an idiot to save!" my horn lights up and I teleport us out of the room, we have a mission to accomplish.

I stare in awe as I watch Rosette and Zap teleport out of the room, how does Zap know Blossom!

"Zap knows Blossom?" I turn to Tilley, "how does Zap know Blossom!?"

"It's a long story." Tilley says while sitting down, still cradling the bundle in her arms, "before Zappy got her cutie mark..."

If anyone can catch it I put a Jason Mraz song title and a Star Wars quote somewhere in there. Also the next chapter will be mainly a flashback to show how they met. Thanks for your comments. Now for a random joke off the milk cartons they have at school.

Why was the kid staring intently at the orange juice? anybody know the answer?
