Chrysalis's family had been in worse and worse condition. Celestia knew whose fault it was as did Chrysalis. She knew what Chrysalis was and why she never should have exsisted. She was a changeling. A creature who fed on the love of others. Chrysalis despised herself almost as much as she hated Celestia.

Why couldn't she just be a normal pony? Why did she have to be a changeling? These were the questions Chrysalis asked herself frequently. She tried to prepare herself for the coming storm. She had heard Celestia speaking to her mother. Celestia wanted her gone, and Celestia always got what she wanted
