Done and done, Chapter... Nine? Yeah, Nine is up. The numbers have gone all wibbly-wobbly on the backend.

Anyway! Headglue is holding fine, and I've gotten the usual last-minute rephrasings, extra-period-removal, and inexplicable tense changes done.

So if things changed in the LAST chapter, they REALLY change now. Promise. This one was the most problematic to write, so I hope it ended up readable. I went over it so many times I really can't tell anymore.

I won't be getting the new chapter out tonight, because I've been distracted by this lump of super glue on my head all day.

It's Super glue, and it's super in that it's medically approved. That's right, this morning I had a difference of opinion with a rather hard and protruding chunk of plane, and carved a furrow in my scalp. I know a lot of people are at Everfree, CrystalCon, BronyExpo (in Alberta, eh?) and Anthrocon, and even I am gravitating towards Seattle as we speak, but that's no reason not to post this. Only a week late, the next chapter is up! The past couple weeks have seen me getting pretty distracted, but it doesn't mean this story's getting stuck- as I've said before, it's DONE, I just keep coming across little stuff I'm not happy with. I'm getting better, though, about gritting my teeth and pushing the button when it's mostly done. I know some of this has been edited to death, but every time I look, there's more to do.

Next chapter is up, and it's a big one! Over six thousand words, this is one that changed the direction of the story.

I started working in more complex elements while writing it, which meant I had to go back and find ways to make them fit with the later complex elements... Well, mostly I had fun writing dialogue and tried to find ways to fit that in. I hope it worked!

So it's up, only a few days late. I apologize for that; I worked on Kon Patrol at A-Kon this past weekend, and I really wore myself out with a couple of twelve-hour nights and not enough rest during the day. It was an amazing experience, and I'm really glad I did it, but it made it impossible to do the tweaking I wanted to.
