The fastest long story I have published is done. Jeez, I published it in March and now at the end of April, it’s fully out. Little shorter than Possession, despite being a chapter longer, but that is mostly due to removal of some things from the initial plans.

Chapter 20 was the originally meant to be the end of part two of Last of the Dark Ponies, until I changed things around so the story is now only in two parts instead of three. Anyway we close in on the ending, next chapter we return to the rescue team, they are closing in but Sombra knows they are coming. Will they succeed? Will they fail?

I didn't notice I accidentally published chapter 18 yesterday, so when I went to go and publish it today like I planned to I just went to the next unpublished chapter in the queue and published that, not paying attention that it was chapter 19.

There will be a little delay on chapter 15, my editor is a little busy with RL, so the chapter I was planning to have up tomorrow, will instead hopefully be ready on Thursday.

Well Friday is here on my part of the world and Chapter 14 is up and running, and the last chapter I managed to get out before the Season 9 Premiere airs tomorrow.

I was kind of aiming for more chapters to be out but alas, it was not to be. Do not worry, I am still going to make an attempt to keep the same update schedule, the story will go on as planned, despite certain someone returning and probably smash all known headcanons to pieces.

Chapter 12 and therefore part 1 of The last of the Dark Ponies is now up and thus another update week comes to a close, when mere eight days remain until the season 9 premiere.

Next week I'm hoping to get chapter 13 and 14 up before season 9 officially starts and quite possibly blows up several headcanons.

But now it's time for another update break. Which will probably last until next wednesday.

I published chapter 8 now and intend to have chapter 9 and 10 up on Tuesday and Thursday before going on another update break. I think that's a nice enough schedule. Hopefully I won't get my days confused like I did last week.

As you may have noticed, the third chapter of the Last of the Dark Ponies is up. However, it is the last update before the weekend, and quite possibly Monday as well. I do intend to update regularly, but I do still need to fill up the buffer. I don't think I'll manage to have the entire story out before season 9 rolls in and utterly bulldozes several years worth of headcanon but I at least want a good chunk of it out.
