Merry Christmas, Everyone! No, I'm Not Dead! · 2:50am Dec 26th, 2018
Hi everyone. I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and give you all an assurance that I'm not dead, and neither is my story.
Hi everyone. I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and give you all an assurance that I'm not dead, and neither is my story.
Hi everyone,
I'm alive, the car is fixed, the mortgage paid, and bank account looking a bit more positive. Let's hope I don't have to go through quite so much stress for the next few months at least. Which brings us back to the question I'm sure is on the minds of my small cadre of loyal readers:
When the heck is the next chapter coming?
Hi everyone,
So, you're probably wondering what's taking so damn long with the next chapter. Well, to put it simply, life happened. I ran into a money crunch combined with a bunch of new expenses. I've actually taken to driving a ride share to earn extra cash, and it was working out really well...till the AC compressor in my car blew.
Hi everyone.
I know you all haven't heard from me in a bit, but rest assured that I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth. I just had a whole bunch of grownup problems hit in the last couple of months and it's left me no time to do any writing.
Just hang on a bit longer. Once I get through chapter 8, it'll get a lot easier for me in terms of moving the story along.
Honey cruller time...
Hi all,
Well, work has kept me busy and away from writing for the past couple of weeks. I apologize, since I pretty much have chapter 8 all planned out in fair detail. I just need to sit down and write it. Just hang on a bit longer.
In other news, it feels like it was only two weeks ago that Rebuilding hit the 1300 reader mark. Well, today we hit 1400 readers, and I'll mark it the exact same way as last time:
Ask me anything. I guarantee, you'll get some sort of an answer.
For the mothers in our lives, whoever they might be.
Hi, everyone.
Work continues on chapter 8, and Rebuilding reached a new milestone: the story has now had over 1,300 views. I think this is something worth celebrating, and so to anyone who reads this, I’ll make this offer: Ask me anything you want. I promise that I’ll answer it in some way.
Just a quick update for you all. I’ve written my detailed treatment for the next chapter, and seem to have the story beats worked out fairly well. I hope to have it finished in a couple of weeks. So, once again, I thank my readers for their patience and hope you’ll enjoy it.
Hello all,
It's been more than 8 weeks since my last update. You've all been very patient, and for that, I'm grateful.
But it's here. It's finally posted. Chapter 7 of Rebuilding is live and ready for reading. I hope you all find it worth the wait.
It's almost done. And it's the longest chapter yet. Look for it this weekend. And thanks for your patience.
Okay folks, bad news.
Coming back from my trip, between getting my mom driven home and catching up on work, I couldn't get chapter 7 finished. Yes, I know I committed to a publishing date of the 24 March, but it just isn't going to happen. I apologize. I know a bunch of you were really looking forward to it. I'll shoot for next weekend.
Again, sorry. There's really nothing more I can say.
Hey everyone,
The overseas adventure is winding down, and so I wanted to drop you all a line. My pre-reader has pointed out that this site will most likely come back to life soon as the new season of MLP premieres, and that seems like the best impetus possible to get the new chapter finished up.
Hey all,
Just wanted to drop you a line and say that I’m still alive, although I’ve now moved from Spain to Dublin. I’m currently holed up in a hostel, which is kind of hilarious, because my mom’s quest to always pay the least has landed us both in actual back packer’s accommodations. That said, I look forward to seeing this city a bit.
Tomorrow.
Hello from Torremolinos, Spain, everyone!
As I recover from jet lag and wait out the rain that's falling here, I was checking out one of the stories here on FiM Fiction. It was called Daughters of Glimmer, and it popped up on the recommended bar to the right of Rebuilding. It was fairly well written and I was interested in seeing where it went. Then I saw that dreaded "incomplete" tag, and that the last update had been in December of 2016.
Another abandoned fanfic.
Hi everyone,
As I prepare to take off for parts unknown, I wanted to share the news: Rebuilding had its 1000th view tonight. That's right, a thousand people have taken the time to at least have a look at my strange little tale. And I thank every single one of them for doing so.
Hi everyone,
And what a cover it is!
Thanks so much to Little Tigress for putting up with my persnickety details and for realizing my cover concept so well!
Please enjoy chapter 6 of Rebuilding, a day sooner than expected!
Sorry that each chapter is taking about a month to write, but I hope you all find it enjoyable.
