Remember how I promised a 4000 word slice of life chapter but only delivered a 3000 word one?

The next chapter of Darksiders: Equestria's Tree of Life is a little over halfway done as I'm going to for 4000 words as a bit of a thank you to everyone who's following it so far.

I have decided that yes, there will be a romance subplot but hopefully it won't put too many readers off, it's early days yet.

Admittedly once I'm done with the important stuff for the chapter (just got to do a few more scenes) I'm not sure what exactly to write next as I have a feeling I'm not going to make my 3000 word limit with just the parts I need to put in for the story.

Now that I've got a new computer and the motivation to keep working on Darksiders: Equestria's Tree of Life I've hit a road block which I think would be best resolved by you guys.

One of the core themes of the fic is the development of the relationship between our two main characters Silvia and Death and for the moment I will be keeping their interactions as...Platonic as I can.

Welp I've got a new computer!

But I'm still using the same keyboard!

Expect the next chapter of Darksiders: Equestria's Tree of Life to be up soon-ish. I'm about half done...I think, I mean, I'm up to the boos fight at least...

I'm going to try and get the next chapter of Darksiders: Equestria's Tree of Life done over the next few days, got nearly two thousand words done so far and I still need to do the boss fight.

Blame my laziness on Warframe (I play it on ps4 if anyone's interested), the cold arse weather here in NZ and headaches.

I needed a puzzle for the entrance to the first dungeon so..Here have a speak peek on some character interaction while I take break from writing the next chapter. (I think I'm about 1/3rd done, gonna work on it bit by bit until it's done.)

At the end of the maze was a large metal door locked by a series of six pressure plates at the end of a tunnel. The plates themselves each had an indentation to fit something in them.
