Really this blog is about language. Contrary to the bleating of the Average Internet Intellectual, the meaning of a word is not absolute. We, as a community, can choose how to use words and consequently the meanings we give to them. If we're sensible, we choose in a way that reflects the real world and enables discussion.

I don't know why I'm writing this, but sometimes I just like writing to write. Or, I suppose, this would be typing, which I enjoy doing also. Ignore the italics in the last sentence. I was typing a capital "i" when I accidentally pressed Ctrl, and so, because I like italics, I figured I would just keep it. I always write these things laying on my stomach, and so what ends up happening is I lean on one arm too much and it starts getting a bit sore. It's a little annoying.
