For a moment there I thought I'd lost the spark. I'm past 18 (in mid-20-s, in fact), so I'm not a child. Cartoons are not supposed to bring me joy, but for all these years I've watched them aplenty. At least it feels so. Not many 'toons are never-before-seen: some are rewatched for the times' sake . So, maybe, I've grown up. But the rewatches have never ceased to entertain me. Nine years ago today, Friendship is Magic premiered on The Hub, and, in doing so, opened the floodgates for the massive fandom and devotion that was to come. Now, the series will end this Saturday, but we can still look back fondly on all the good times... and make plenty more, because knowing this fandom, we aren't going anywhere!
