Added detail pages for all the CPUs currently in my museum! · 6:04am Oct 22nd, 2020
I'll be adding more entries soon. Once that's done, I might even post up additional resources, like manual PDFs and stuff.

Because system requirements are actually system suggestions.
CPU-Z validation:

Video coming up. Footage has just been recorded. :V
don't ask why i recorded this.
The metal on the faceplate is removable. 👀
Also, I've got a Twitter account now, so... uh, microblogging yay?
Followed the manual, popped in the Evergreen Spectra 400 in place of the old CPU, saw the BIOS detect it at ~400mhz... and lag.
TONS of lag.
Windows XP does not seem to like the thing.
Like as in, going from 166mhz to 400mhz ended up being a speed downgrade.
Haha. Now time for some benchmarking between using native PCIe and using the bridge/adapter card and a (relatively) modern GPU!
And then once I know that the experiment won't blow up during benchmarking, I'ma stick it into progressively older computers until I reach the ULTIMATE BOTTLENECK!
The computer running the benchmarks is the open system underneath the mouse. The towers under the screen and keyboard are just serving as a makeshift desk because I didn't want to move everything over to my shed when I had moved everything into my much warmer bedroom instead.
Writing this post from my laptop. My main computer was updating itself, but once it finished and restarted, I noticed that it took a substantially longer time to log me in than before, and once it did, to my utter shock and horror, the desktop, my wallpaper, the settings app, and the taskbar and start menu were all missing.
'Cause holy heck, am I getting tired of IE on that thing. Hopefully the only available open-source browser I've found for WinRT (Qupzilla) will work.
Gonna use this thing to do more 3D rendering stuffs. I'ma install this in my thrift-store workstation so that I don't have to worry about crashing my main system whenever I want to render a heavy scene. At least that way I can still work on homework and essays while things are happening in the background.
smol hdd go reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeclickclickclick
Ya boi modded his iPod today. :V
Swapped the crusty ol' white plastic faceplate with a custom blue 6th gen one
wow i didn't screw up the aspect ratio this time
Minor rendering errors aside, (because IE, obviously), Fimfiction works nicely! ^_^
Literally, the second day that I've owned a Surface RT, and I'm already having to leave the thing on overnight to factory reset off of a USB flash drive just because one of the recently-released optional updates bricked the entire device. I guess I'll just avoid those updates from now on.
Who knew that someone would dump a perfectly-fine Core 2 Quad workstation at a thrift store? This thing (The Dell XPS 420) used to cost $2,279, but I grabbed it for a mere $8 at the thrift store. Granted, everything but the CPU and (now crap) GPU were stripped from the system, but I've got plenty more than enough to replace the missing parts. In fact, aesthetically, the system still looks practically new. The smell, however? Let's just say that someone must've put it
Some of the music I have goes quite well with certain genres, I'd have to say.
Though, this new habit kinda formed from neccesity, 'cause I have to read "A Tale of Two Cities" for English. It's not that I dislike the book, I just find it nice to read the ebook at night with music playing through headphones to eliminate distractions.
But for now, I'm done for the day with reading the book.
Dolby Surround sound still sounds amazing on the ol' HTC.
ya boi did it
he finally posted another video
