Knocked out 1k words today and I think I'll do more when I get home.

This is really gonna be Linnai's chapter to shine, and then the drama with Flutters, Dashie, and Mulcibar will jump into 12th gear. Can't wait! This is the moment I love with every book of this fic! The intro ductory stuff is over and I get to go all-out!

And yeah, that "hearing the narrator" thing is definitely not gonna be in there. I'll probably include it as a bonus.

My road trip to Everfree Northwest was as awesome as always. This is the third year I've done it, and the third year that I have not attended any writer panels!

Anyway! Today has been a recovery day. Back home, lots to do, plus relaxing after 3 days on the road.

Tomorrow will be writing and hopefully finishing up the new chapter for Conquering of Love! Perhaps a bit of writing tonight, as well. No idea!

Seriously, let's tap into our inner griffon racist, or pony racist, and think up some better stuff. Because it needs to seem like it would be really offensive somehow.

Hey all!

Been a while since I've had an update that wasn't just me making excuses. Anyway, to get right to it...

The next chapter of The Conquering of Love is nearly done and will be ready for editors/pre-readers in the next day or so. I expect a release sometime next week.

I apologize once again for the two month hiatus! Guess I just needed a break from it for whatever reason, but I am officially back on the grind now.

I've seen other authors do this, and it's awfully tempting. Feels like that halfway point between reader interaction and roleplay, and I really love the idea of it. Basically, you ask characters from the story questions, and I have to answer the questions as the character, in-character. The characters obviously don't know meta-information, so you couldn't ask Twilight what's happening with Applejack in her dream, etc... because she doesn't know yet... or you couldn't ask what Celestia thinks of

Going through old blog posts. There was a post just before Conquering of Love was featured on EQD where I said "Wow, did The Conquering of Love get featured somewhere? It got 45 views in the last 24 hours, which is way more than normal."

I just checked my views so far for today, it's 72.

I need to use that as fuel for the fire and bust out the new chapter faster! I am giving myself a deadline of Friday night to have the whole thing written out and ready to be edited.
