For some unknown reason I managed to pump out 3000 words for chapter five of ANCTL in less than 24 hours.

Expect the chapter up within the next day or two. At this point I'm just waiting for my editor to get around to it.

I've got less than 1500 words left to write, but I want to try get it up to 10,000 by the end of the week.

EDIT: Screw 10,000, I managed to put it on the best cliffhangar at just under 8500 words.

Expect chapter four for A Nightmare Come to Life to be released within a few days. I'm thrilled with how much progress I've been making this last week or so.

I have absolutely NO idea why, but there's always a discrepancy between the running word count in Google Documents and the running count on FIMFiction.

Does anyone know why? Also, I make this blog so people can know the status of the story.

I'm just gonna put this here.

So yeah, I went to write more of A Nightmare Come To Life but when that happened, somehow the file for the outline I had for the rest of the chapter got corrupted somehow. Anyway, that's going to set me back in that I'm going to have to re-write it again, when I could have been putting that effort into the chapter itself.

As you may know it's been a month since I last updated A Nightmare Come to Life. Yeah, pathetic I know.

I've gotten 1600 words into chapter four, and it's at that stage where I could either keep writing the same chapter to the intended 4-5k words I wanted to, or I could publish a shitty 1600 word chapter to keep you guys happy or wrote a solid 4000-5000 word chapter.

What would be better? What do you guys think I should do?

So I'm making progress with the fourth chapter of A Nightmare Come To Life, but it's slow. Slower than a playground full of special kids.

I need to get my arse in gear again.

So I've submitted A Nightmare Come To Life to Equestria Daily.

Previously I've submitted My Little Luna which got denied because of gross spelling errors, and then I tried submitting The Worlds End, which, also got denied but I didn't get a reason why. I suspect the reason being it is a sequel without the prequel.

Nonetheless, I'm going to wait and see if it gets accepted or not.
