A timeline of events in my story (note this is not the actual timeline):

In 1969, humanity discovered it was not alone in the universe when two astronauts, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, discovered a highly equine alicorn, Princess Luna, on the moon. In 1970, a year after Princess Luna is rescued and brought back to Earth, the night goddess proceeds to unite under the New Lunar Republic, with the help of hundreds of millions of followers and supporters, in a conflict known as the Lunar Revolution. In 1976, Luna successfully united all of humanity under the New Lunar Republic. In 2016, the Unity Health Organization creates the miracle serum, allowing humans to conquer age, disease, grow back lost limps, regaining sight, etc. In 2055, humanity replicates Thaumaturgic Magic and began using in a form of technology known as Magical-Hardlight. Five years later in 2060, humanity's first starship, LRSC Steven Hawking, is launched. On July 20, 2069, Armstrong Outpost at Shackleton Crater is formally established as humanity's first off-world permanent colony on the moon on the 100th anniversary of Apollo 11 and of the discovery of Princess Luna. In 2080, the European Space Agency's Lowell City in Los Chasma becomes the first permanent human settlement on Mars. In 2145, the Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine is created, marking interstellar colonization possible. In 2148, explorers on Mars uncovers a Prothean beacon containing information of a threat. This threat is known as the Reapers. A race of hyper-advanced starships that resides in dark space, and enters the galaxy through the Citadel Mass Relay to harvest advanced organic races every 50,000 years. After this discovery, Luna bans the use of the mass relays and mass effect technology, and authorizes a militarization on a scale never seen in recorded human history. In 3045, a colony ship travels 500 light years in slipspace and accidentally discovers a strange cartoonish planet with a physical appearance to Earth in the Kepler-186 system in the Constellation Cgynus, near the edge of the Orion Cluster, but doesn't investigate. Another vessel, a cruiser, is sent investigate and later discovers the planet is inhabited highly intelligent equines/ponies. The ship relays message of this amazing and bizarre discovery. Princess Luna, on board her personal starship, travel to Kepler-186 and, once there, transforms into Nightmare Moon before teleporting to the surface of the planet temporarily named Zeta-259b. Hours later, she is restored back to Luna after six ponies, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy, using powerful magical artifacts known as the Elements of Harmony, and is reunited with her sister, Princess Celestia. For the next five years, Luna has remained on the planet, now known as Equis, and secretly remains in contact with her loyal human subjects and empire. In 3050, the Faust Mass Relay is discovered after a detailed exploration of the Faust system accidentally uncovered it. Three scientific vessels and a super-heavy cruiser are sent to study and decommission the mass relay. After accidentally activating it, the four vessels came into hostile contact with an fleet, belonging to a veil and savage alien race known as the Batarian Hegemony. Only the three scientific vessels managed to return to friendly territory, but their military escort sacrificed themselves to destroy the small Batarian Slaver Fleet. Least than two days later, Equis is brutal attacked by the Batarian Hegemony, prompting humanity and the New Lunar Republic to reveal themselves to Equis' billions of inhabitants and struggles to save them all from a life of pain and suffering.

Well that is it folks. Moving on as the title states, I need several characters with age, physical appearance, personalities, back stories, etc. These are the following requirements:

A.) An African-American Captain, CO of the super-heavy cruiser (that I mentioned in the brief timeline above.)
B.) A Russian Commander, XO of the super-heavy cruiser
C.) An AI of the vessel
D.) A Batarian captain
E.) A Batarian Imperial Admiral (for later use in the story.)
F.) A squad of Batarian soldiers (for later use in the story.)
G.) A squad of marines/soldiers and a fire team of SIGMA super-soldiers (for later use in the story.)
H.) A squad of Royal Guards (Ponies) (for later use in the story.)
I.) Cool names for human and Batarian ships (but I will handle with their weapons.) (Add-on, unrelated to the title above.)

(Another thing I want to put is that I will NOT ALLOW the human characters to be romantically paired up with the mane six, princesses, or any other character for that matter. 'Cause I'll decide who pairs up with who.)

I have an Idea, how important are the guards and/or the AI in the story,. do they have an important position in the storyline, are they constant characters?

The AI is a minor character and as for the guards, they'll be lead by Shining Armour to rescue the mane six and with the guards is a squad of human NLR marines. The NLR marines were sent to extract the girls, fully knowing they're Equestria and Equis' protectors. But back to the guards. They were sent by Celestia to retrieve the mane six and get them to Canterlot as they are the elitist guards in the Royal Guard. The reason as why they're the elitist because they receive more training and are magically augmented with bio-magical barriers capable of stopping kinetic projectiles like mass accelerator rounds and bullets, but not energy-based and kinetic-energy-based projectiles.

Your OC Crescent Blade looks promising, but there's a problem that doesn't (or does) relate to your OC. I have a ship classification called the Crescent-class super-heavy cruiser, which is 2.5 kilometres in length. A coincidence? But other than that, like I said, "your character looks promising."

If his first encounter with four Powered Assault Armour (which are powered by a miniature thaumaturgic magic-fusion reactor and has a magical-energy shield) wearing super-soldiers turn violent, if he mistakes them for heavily armoured Batarians because of the SIGMA's armour concealing their identities. Not to mention he has no idea how to effectively combat them without broking his limps against solid nano-titanium powered assault armour or using up all of his magic against a magical-energy shield.

And if it makes you happy, I'll consider using your OC for my story. I'll make sure you'll get some credit for the character you provided.

(Yes, the powered assault armour and magical-energy shielding will be common in the story. 'Cause I already made a draft of a codex that describes warships, ship-based weapons, technology, handheld weaponry, species, etc.)
