hey something just occured to me.... what if I wrote a hellboy-like spike story with spike taking the place of the demon in question? thorax could be abe and a kirkin OC could be liz. His egg would have been stolen by one of the mlp villians and fallen into celestia's hooves who would have hatched him and raised him to be part of a newly created secret royal guard squad (think agent sweetie drops.) which eventually evolves into something similar to the BPRD. Twilight is taken under celestia's wing as a new member due to her magical prowess many years later and spike is chosen to be the one to teach her how to act as a field agent alongside him (much to his displeasure because he HATES working with rookies), it would have moments from the hellboy comics as well as my little pony.
