Was i the only one hoping and thinking that this was the show's way to honor the golden Age of animation and/or Roger Rabbit in having Pinkie trying to protect the twins from dangers, but getting herself hurt in the process in a comedic fashion that fits her character ?
As fans of Pinkie Pie and her behavior: What do you think of this ?
Oh, wow! I never thought of that until you brought this up! That so sounds like a small homage. Especially when you consider Pinkie's enthusiasm for the job with Pound and Pumpkin finding a way to cause grief at nearly every turn.
As Pinkie is the pony who defies logic I could see a well done remake of that opening scene in Roger Rabbit being done with Pinkie and The Cake Twins.

I am glad that I wasn't the only one.

Thanks for bringing this up. :)
