Added bonus: The tail feathers are actually pretty similar to the tail fur of a squirrel. I'm guessing this more conservative take on the "squirrel tail" is an inkling more credible, due to the media liking to exaggerate literally everything (see the incident with the T. rex scales somewhere like 2016 or 2017) and the paleoartist who made this, Gabriel N.U., having pretty up-to-date reconstructions of dinos at the time he/she/they drew them.
