“Tying the knot” a story about Sunset & her partner’s marriage/engagement or post marriage life. (Fitting this theme is the same month as Valentines Day!)

Stories should be first posted/published between February 2nd 2024 to March 2nd 2024 until midnight. Time zone: United States eastern.

Any length is appreciated, wanna short 1K-3K thing? Go for it. Got that epic you've finished but never uploaded? That’s pretty dope too.

The Prizes

• The story will be on the page description for two weeks, and the winner will get to choose the next Sunset x EG Villain competition (can’t be the same one). If they want to, they can co-judge for that competition. But if they don’t want to co-judge, they can of course compete again.

2nd Place:

• The story will get an honorable mention on the group description.
• The winner will get a review of one of their stories (their choice) by Reactception.

3rd Place:

• The story submitted will be reviewed by Reactception.

I imagine it would be, due to it’s relation to marriage, but I’d like to make sure.

Well, there’s always those fics that tend towards darkness, and both divorce and widowing count as that.
There are other ways of course, like dealing with addictions, death of another loved one, or just simple drama between the s/o’s, but those two in particular are good for dealing with the darkest of it all.

Hi, I'm the one who suggested the theme and this is exactly what I meant.
Either about the wedding or life after the wedding (implied: as a married couple).
I wouldn't exclude divorce, though. And I passed on judging, so it's up to the organiser to interpret regardless.

Legality would be something interesting to dwell into, I think, since through the process, Sunset (and her spouse too potentially) would be exposed as at least an illegal immigrant.

Does it need to be an EG character? Can it be someone from the main series or 5G? Can the world be from any franchise or must it be the present EG? Can Sunset be the demon or pony (alicorn) version?
