If this fight is going to be anything like the movie, Sunset Shimmer won't even 'try' to hurt Spike and she'll likely just hold back. Which applies to the argument as to how Leonardo won that Fatal-4-Way Death Battle against his brothers when he lost to Raphael in the movie. 'Technically', Leonardo could have beaten Raphael... he was the most trained and well-balanced. But because Raphael was his brother and because he cared about him, even if Raphael seemingly didn't, Leonardo refused to use his full strength.
Could the circumstances be a slight different for this scene? Possibly... who knows?
In the abandoned laboratory, the Legion of Doom watched as Doctor Octopus re-constructed his fusion reactor with pure concentration, his mechanical arms grabbing this piece and that all over the floor.
"The power of the sun..." Doctor Octopus said, "in the palm of my hand."
Cozy Glow beamed. "Ooh! That is a good one, Dr. Octavius, sir!" she said almost sycophantly. "We should trademark that!"
Oh yes, 'Spider-Man 2' definitely had some big moments. And yet as evil as Doctor Octopus may be, he's not completely heartless. In a way, he's actually one of the more sympathetic villains in the Spider-Man series. Least the Sam Raimi films anyway.
Doc Ock sings If I Were A Rich Man
"Doc? Doc?! Where are you?!"
Cozy then looked inside the opened door lab to find...Doc Ock singing, with his claws clicking away as if providing instrumentation.

The man clearly showed he had some experience in musical theater. But I will admit: That would be very funny.

In the midst of the chaos, Doctor Octavius strained his metal limbs to topple his creation, all the while Cozy Glow held onto a nearby girder for dear life.
"DOC, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" she screamed. "YOU'RE THROWING YOU ENTIRE LIFE AWAY! IT'S YOUR GREATEST CREATION!!!"
"I WILL NOT DIE A MONSTER!!!"
Beneath the harbor, the man once known to the world as Doctor Octavius slowly sank to the very depths of the water, with what was left of his creation, never again to be used in any manner.
Cozy Glow meanwhile had escaped to a distant area away from the heroes, bruised and battered but very much alive.
"Why, Doc?" she mumbled. "You had the world in the palm of your hands, and you just threw it all away."
She panted with fear, throwing a seed that opened up to an escape-vortex.
"He's not gonna be happy when he hears about this."
Swallowing, she jumped in.
That little twerp is just never going to get it. At least Otto realized what he was becoming even though in his defense he's the adult. Whereas for Cozy Glow, unless she truly recognizes just what she is turning into, there won't be any going back.

Who'd have guessed that something that seemed odd would turn into something popular for the web. No doubt the ponies and Spike will find this rather peculiar indeed. Provided the symbiote hasn't affected anyone else.
