I'm actually glad that Equestria Girls is possibly ending so that I can keep writing/thinking up (mostly the latter because school) SciFlashLight fics without the stigma of it being non-canon/canon incompatible hanging over my head? I've honestly lost hope that SciFlashLight is ever going to become canon even if Twilight does break up with Timber Spruce. Also, contributing to this ship has thoroughly ruined FlashShimmer fanart and fanfiction for me.

No, I think it's okay. Besides, having it end now means the future of that universe isn't set in stone. Who knows, maybe after the series Flash and Twilight didn't end up getting together. Just because we don't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
