Does this sound like a must-have item for Disney fanatics? Let's put it this way: For those who already have Disney+, with the exception of 'one' movie, you can see these features at any time? But if Disney+ ends up cutting too much of your expenses and you have a blu-ray, rather than buying one at a time you could have a whole set. I question how the 'Planes' movies got on there, but I'm not the one who designed this set.

Still, the bigger question remains: What do you think? Be sure to leave a comment below at your earliest convenience.

Until then faithful viewers, this is the Dramamaster829... signing off!

100 DISNEY FILMS FOR IT'S 100TH ANNIVERSARY?! Disney is insane!

In our country, that's going to be worth PhP85,047!

Quite a selection.

Holy cow that's a lot of money

$1,500 for 100 movies? :rainbowhuh: Man, that’s pricey! It’s a good thing I already have Disney+. Of course, the one thing streaming services lack that Blu-Ray discs have is exclusive special features such as deleted scenes and “The Making Of” documentaries. I remember getting a limited edition Blu-Ray of the entire 1960s “Batman” series long before streaming made it easy. The whole set probably wasn’t as expensive, but it was worth it because it came with a scrapbook of on set photos, including one where Adam West wears the costume without the mask, playing cards, and a “Hot Wheels” toy of the classic Batmobile. I’d say that was money well spent. Now that we have streaming services however, watching movies after they’ve been in theaters is simpler than ever. I still miss the special features from discs though, but streaming does have its benefits.

Imagine how everyone else in the world will feel when comparing their prices with ours. Now, I make a decent amount of money at work. But there is NO WAY I could have enough to afford this and still have enough to pay my bills. It's impossible. I'd have to be a rich millionaire for this to not be a problem.

Some of these films that they included I'm thinking... 'Really? Well, okay then'. I mean you've got to have every movie in the Walt Disney Animated Theatrical release line-up, and I guess to some degree that includes Pixar. But some of them, like the Disney Toon Studios movies I'm thinking... 'Really?'.

I could barely make over $990 for two weeks of work at the library. This money better be going to some form of cause.

Plus, if my intuition is correct, the only movie on this line-up that's not on Disney+ would be, oh... Make Mine Music?

7878503
This feels like the exact same lineup for the Disney Chronicles, minus a few exceptions of course. Isn't that funny?

In a way, it's kind of as the line-up implies. I mean most of these movies we had planned to do regardless. They don't mention the live action movies, not even the ones with the animated segments. But that's fine, right? We're talking a collection that's mainly all animation, am I right?

7878566
If it does include the live action remakes, that would be both infuriating and hilarious.

7878601
Live action remakes... but yeah... no. I'm glad they didn't put that in the line-up. I checked the list 'twice'.

Actually, there's *one* title that is missing, which I'm sure some fans will be clamoring about. A controversial movie regarding an equally controversial period of our American history.

If you are referring to 'Song of the South', it's more of a live action movie with very few bits of animation. I've noticed that a majority of the live action movies are not even included in this collection. But I may be wrong, what movie 'is' missing in this collection? Do tell, if you please.

7879159
Nevermind. Sorry.

7879272
Very well. I understand. You don't wish to answer it's all good. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

7879273
No, I mean I was talking about Song of the South, but then your explanation made me feel silly, so I apologized.

7879275
It's not silly. Perhaps I want to know. Why 'did' you want Song of the South featured? Just hypothetically speaking. We're just talking.

7879283
I never said I wanted it featured. I have no qualms for its absence or presence. I just know some friends who think that it wasn't included because of its questionable history. That's why I brought it up to see if it was the same with anyone else.

But since it's because the movie was more of a live-action film with animated sequences parsed in, then I have nothing more to add in bringing it up.

In a sense, it is the questionable history that would make it difficult to feature the movie in a collection this big. Not unless there was a remake of this feature that ultimately redeems itself for its audience.

Sweet mother of Walt!

I swear the amount of money to pay for this whole set is nearly as equivalent to how much folks would spend on Halloween Decorations.

Wow, that is a lot and at an expensive price too.

Now if I were a rich billionaire or something, it be no sweat getting this collection. If my Disney+ account stops for whatever reason, at least I'd have all these blurays to watch. Although, I won't really understand how the 'Planes' movies actually made the cut but I'm sure they still have an audience.
